    I recently discovered your channel and i just love it. ♥️🌺
    If I try to do some jewelry with more detailed and thinner piece of air dry clay, like , for example, a little rose or something like this, the clay will break easily, right? There’s something I could do to make the thinner piece more resistant and not get that to break easily?
    I'm trying to do some things with Polymer Clay, but i just found that i have such hot hands and i can't work well with the polymer clay. I also bought some packs of DAS and i find really good working with it. I'm about to sell all my polymer clays and buy more of the DAS, but i intend to do more detailed jewelry and knowing that could break easily with thinner pieces also breaks my heart hahaha
    Could you help me with some tips that i could make my pieces more resistant?

    • @RedRockingBird
      @RedRockingBird  3 роки тому +1

      Chunky jewelry is better for air dry clay, I find a good top coat like polyurethane gives more strength but a robust thick enough shape to begin with is key

      If I use my tile and do the roll and turn method I always do , so we’re never driving the clay down into the surface and keep lifting up and moving, it doesn’t stick. Some people use a cloth, like a smooth tea towel to roll out on, that could be an option to try if you are having problems
