I’m making biscuit shaped brooches this weekend (we have specifically shaped biccies in France called ‘petit beurre’ so I’ll be making those and painting them the colour of biscuits). Hope it will turn out like I imagine. 😊
Another great video. Will the paint transfer work if I use a ceramic tile to roll out my clay? I am excited to add another dimension to my jewelry. Thanks!
Nice! I don’t sell my polymer clay jewelry either…just for friends/family and sometimes for myself. It takes the pressure off…can make what you really want to make! Hugs❤️

I love your channel ! Your voice is so nice to listen to. And your a good teacher. I had no idea I can use air dry clay for jewelry . CAN IPUT SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS IN AIR DRY CLAY?
Hi there. Loved watching this thank you. Can you tell me how?which sealant and Glaze is best. I'm starting out and don't want to be wasting the pennies. Thank you. Sarah C
Hi Sarah, I find polyurethane varnish the most durable but takes a long time to dry. I have an acrylic varnish I also like, all last a really long time.
Hi I am new here and I have used this clay a lot with kids, I would like to know how you make the clay slip, as you call it, as I like the result of your work. Thanks for sharing.
I recently discovered your channel and i just love it. ♥️🌺 If I try to do some jewelry with more detailed and thinner piece of air dry clay, like , for example, a little rose or something like this, the clay will break easily, right? There’s something I could do to make the thinner piece more resistant and not get that to break easily? I'm trying to do some things with Polymer Clay, but i just found that i have such hot hands and i can't work well with the polymer clay. I also bought some packs of DAS and i find really good working with it. I'm about to sell all my polymer clays and buy more of the DAS, but i intend to do more detailed jewelry and knowing that could break easily with thinner pieces also breaks my heart hahaha Could you help me with some tips that i could make my pieces more resistant?
Chunky jewelry is better for air dry clay, I find a good top coat like polyurethane gives more strength but a robust thick enough shape to begin with is key
Hi Sarah, love your videos and your voice is so calming and easy to watch. I was wondering if you are able to show us air du clay earrings. Would love to see. Thank you x
@@puneetkaur5294 if it’s fairly thick then it will take a few days, I’ve got some at the moment taking about a week, don’t paint or seal until fully dry
Regular air dry clay is not particularly light, you can get ‘air dry clay light’ now and this is a completely different consistency and the one I get is light and more ‘foamy’ when dry
Hey!!!!!! I tried using air dry clay with some gems to create some antique pieces but once they were dry, it wasn't strong enough and i was able to detach the clay from the gem. Now, i don't understand where i went wrong... Could you please help me out on how i could use air dry clay for making crystal jewelry? You've a good day 💚
On the bare clay I find watercolor really gives a pretty effect, brush lightly with mod podge or similar once fully dry, it doesn't reactivate with mine, just test a piece as someone said they found theirs reactivated, then top with a spray finish. Enjoy 💙
They likely have dried too quickly and therefore unevenly. If you want them flat turn the regularly and part way through you can put a light wood plank on top to help keep them flat and keep turn regularly and let dry slowly, hope this helps
I’m curious about how you peel the clay off the tile. When I roll my clay it sticks fast and there’s no way it comes off. I’ve used glass, tile and baking paper. What am I doing wrong? 😢
If I use my tile and do the roll and turn method I always do , so we’re never driving the clay down into the surface and keep lifting up and moving, it doesn’t stick. Some people use a cloth, like a smooth tea towel to roll out on, that could be an option to try if you are having problems

So how does the drying works? We dont require baking? For how long you need to keep it for drying?
Air dry clay does not need baking no and should be dried slowly away from any heat. Depends on the piece, I allow 2-4 days
I’ve kept it for many days but it still is not as firm as it should be
