Thanks and welcome to my channel 😁 Really happy you liked the video! Stay tuned for more every week. The Cayman Islands are beautiful 😍 I would love to film there 👍
Absolutely fantastic. The whole video is amazing. The production is top class. The way you put videos together makes them compelling to watch from start to end.
Thank you Stephen, that is great feedback 🙏 I can't lie, a lot of the techniques I use, come from your tutorials - so thank you! It is challenging making 'another drone' video different, what I am trying to do now is 'tell a story', which hopefully makes it more interesting. Thanks again for the very kind comments, you don't know how encouraging it is to hear 👍
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it! That lake is one of 3 reservoirs. If you look closely, you can see two more in the background. It provides all the drinking water to Cardiff 👍
Brilliant video! Considering it was just over 4 min you squeezed a lot in. Really well balanced with your footage, just the right amount for each section. Great job! Cheers. SAA
Thanks a ton! I now try to tell a story, that way, the viewers are hopefully more engaged. I used to just do a straight 4 minutes of drone shots. But there are loads of channels who do just that. So I try to make things a little different here 😉 Cheers mate 👍
@@LamboPhoto You're welcome. You are so right, right I've come to realise that if I want my channel to grow in probably going to have to do a piece to camera at some point. Not something I fancy doing at the moment though. Cheers again.
Yes it was! Although it was touch and go half way up. I tell you, it seems a lot longer getting up there than when I last went in the late '80s 😉 But what a place. Views to die for. Shame about the low cloud. And sods law, it cleared when I got down! Thanks for watching and for the lovely comment. All the best 👍
@@LamboPhoto You know what, that always happens to me. In fact, I climbed up a large hill in Wicklow the other day, took me 2 hours due to me still not being 100% after Covid 🤷🏻.....and it was too cloudy to fly. I went down and had myself a bite to eat, and don't you know it, the sun was splitting the skies 🤣
Great video and well worth the effort obviously! You never know what it will be like when you have those conditions below but definitely a good result - lovely scenery and a cracking video.
Thanks! Yes, it was worth the effort in the end (although was a tad worried on the way up!). The scenery there is to die for, can't get enough of it. Thanks for watching the video, glad you enjoyed and thank you the lovely comment 👍
I see a lot of Wales channels and I'm blown away by its rugged beauty. In theory we can't launch in the fog like you did at the peak of Pen Y Fan but with the effort you made round trip I can see why you did! lol! I would have too. The rest of the footage was clear and beautiful. There certainly were a lot of people at the top for such a long, cold cloudy hike.
Wales is beautiful, with only 4 million people (half of them in the capital), much of the country is wilderness. Very green, rural and rugged. Love it (and miss it). Haha, yes, after that long trek, I 'had to' launch the drone 😉 As soon as I came back down the mountain, sods law, the weather improved! So I went for a bimble around the base of Pen Y Fan. Thanks for the comment, all the best Christian 👍
@@LamboPhoto My wife has a dear friend in Edinburgh and when we retire, we're going to take the maximum visa and travel all over the UK. I was there when I was a child and she studied midwifery in Scotland in the early 80s. Definitely time to return.
You can tell a place is good to visit when you see that amount of cars, absolutely stunning views. Beautiful drone work and hope you have fully recovered from your chest infection.
Thank you! Yes, it was very busy - it seems like it's become a tourist trap of late. My chest has fully recovered, thank you. And thanks for the kind comments 👍
Cheers Clive! Ha, ha ... I will leave a lot in my edits, but there's no way on earth I'll leave the grannies overtaking me in! 😆The scenery is to die for, love it so much. I used to live in Brecon in the late '80's, so it was great to go back. It was unfortunate that it's become very busy, other than that - it was great 🤩
Wow, that is a lot of people that decided to climb the mountain. At the top. Uh, I don't see a party or free giveaways. So, I guess they all just wanted to get out. 😊 Good drone footage and flight. It makes the 2 hour hike worth it when you see views like that. Thanks for sharing. Subbed.👍
Thanks for the sub David 🙏 It wasn't this busy 30 years ago when I last climbed it. It's turned into one of those tourist attractions. Still, it was worth it all the same! Many thanks again 👍
Oh no not the dreaded man flu Chris!! Beautiful Scenery, Certainly a lot of people around, amazing really being so cold and all!! Loving the drone shots, I know the time is coming for me to get one! However to put any drone shots on YT here I have to get a drone pilots license and they're not cheap!!👍😀💯
Cheers Robbie! Yes, that was end of Jan, I am now fighting fit again ... apart from my right knee 😂 As long as the drone is under 250g, you don't need to register it or get a license, as it's classed as a 'toy'. I have ("had", stay tuned for a video on that 😔 ... replacement arrives Monday) a DJI Mini 2, which weighs 242g. They are amazing, the best value drone out there (cost vs quality), and because it's under 250g, there are zero restrictions. I filmed the 'above the clouds' scene in this video with the DJI Mini 2. My bro in Brisbane is considering buying this. Link below to the Australian Drone Laws, which has been recently updated. If you need any help/advice, just let me know mate, always happy to help 👍 dronesgator.com/australia-drone-laws/
Thanks for that Chris, It doesn't say anything about YT, the article I read specifically said that if you show it on there then you have to be registered in Oz! I guess I never read it after all! Lol!!👍😀💯
100% agree about the people. I use to train there back in the late 80's. Not a soul about. Now, it's like Thorpe Park! Regardless, thanks for watching 👍
AWESOME CONTENT MY FRIEND!!! SUCH AN EXCELLENT VIDEO!! New fan here from Cayman Islands 🏝

Landscape like painting 😍

So nice of you! I am very glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching 🤩👍
The fog is amazing ... gives a little mystery in the back ground.
Your right, flying around and through the fog felt almost mystical. Gave the whole place a unique vibe. Thanks for watching and for the comment 👍
So beautiful views of the river! Like from Palma de Mallorca 👍

Great shots Chris, no footage of the grannies overtaking you on the upward trail?
