It isn't supposed to be difficult to find the letters in this little movie, but a couple people are having trouble. A couple hints:
1) The letters of the trackable code are shown in the correct order
2) The letter you see at the tree is the third letter in the code
3) The final letter is the chosen direction; there are four compass point choices and the main character chooses one of the four.
Like geocaching hides, the six letters that make up the code are meant to be hidden in plain sight! I hope you enjoy this short film!
It was hard to find the first letter for me but my son helped me , he is a chief in Minecraft and he found quickly ! Another great project of Geo Elmo, Bravo !
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed this video and I'm happy you were able to discover the trackable.
Fun! It took me a few times to spot the first letter, which was obvious once I saw it. What a terrific way to use your tracking code!
Thank you! Glad you liked it.
This was fun! Thank you for the video!
So glad you enjoyed it! That’s one of my oldest videos!
Tats an excellent idea! Now I need to watch again and make sure to jot stuff down :)
Thank you! Now I can cross off my list "figure out what to do with my Mary Hyde trackable" :-)
Nice way to find a trackable!
Thanks for sharing
I'm glad you enjoyed this! It was fun finding a creative way to use my virtual Mary Hyde trackable.
Wonderfully creative, thank you for sharing!
Thank you, that's very kind of you! It was fun to create and use my Mary Hyde trackable in a fun way. Thanks for watching!
Great job!!! I came up with what I thought was 7 different letters so it took 2 tries entering the code and discarding the 2 more questionable letters I noticed. Super fun!!! - David [Team DEMP]
Thank you David! While most people had trouble finding all the letters, you managed to find more than enough letters! :-)
Missed some of the code, going to have to watch again! 👍 awesome job on the video!
The six letters for the code are hidden in plain sight, just like in geocaching! Glad you enjoyed it!
This is an awesome idea. Thanks for posting it.
Thank you! I wanted to do something fun and different for my Mary Hyde virtual trackable. I'm glad you liked it!
Nicely done! I'm having trouble finding letter #2. I'll see if Mrs. happy camper can spot it. Thanks for the hard work putting these videos together, great fun!
Thanks for the comment and I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Keep trying to get the whole code! I put a couple hints in the comment section if you need any help.
Nicely done :) great way to share your virtual TB
Thank you! I appreciate you watching the video, and for discovering the trackable! It's nice to put the Mary Hyde trackable to good use. :-)
yeah i still have one , not sure what to do with it yet
That's the tough thing about trackables, figuring out interesting things to do with them. I initially lost two travel bugs during their various missions, which was what gave me inspiration for my GIFF film "A Travel Bug's Life" (though that had a happy ending). Now I have trackables piling up and I'm not quite sure what to do with them. Two are still on mission, and several are only brought to events. I have big plans for the trackable from my GIFF film but I will need some time and planning for that one. I thought the Mary Hyde virtual trackable would go well on a virtual item, hence this film. :-)
i have 161 trackables spread all over the world :) some i put in races , some with specific missions to go places :)
Saw it exactly 6 months ago from when it was first published
Thanks for watching! I tried to do something creative with the virtual travel bug
discovered the trackable! thank you! this is so cool!
Great! Thanks for watching! Did you see the other Minecraft trackable on my channel? The other is a Christmas themed choose your own adventure style series of videos.
@@GeoElmoGeocaching yeah i saw them both on your geocache forums post! i haven't done it yet tho, well i started it but i haven't finished!
Enjoyed the puzzle
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Fantastic ! Great job, I really loved this video. Hopefully I got it right. ❤💜🧡💛
You'll know you got it right when you are able to log the trackable! I hope you get it right!
Nice video!
Thank you!
Very neat. Oh, was I supposed to pay attention for a code? LOL I was enjoying the movie. :)
Sorry to distract you from the trackable code with a fun movie! :-)
I am first to discover! I missed the first letter on the first go round but picked it up on the second. Nice. Thanks for the fun
Glad to see that you got it! Congrats on the FTD! Is that a thing? It is now!
Nice movie. Got some letters but not the code. Will have to have another go!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was trying to find something interesting to do with my Mary Hyde virtual trackable and that's what I came up with. :-)
very cool, great idea
Thank you! I had that virtual trackable unused and thought a virtual item would be a great place to put it. Looks like you solved the code; great job! Thanks for watching and commenting.
The vines on the tree at 1:32 is that part of the code?
Hi, just saw your comment, sorry for the late reply. No, the vines aren't part of the code. Three should be very obvious to you. There are two letters that are before the tree that aren't as obvious, and the last one is just the chosen direction from the four compass points.
Tried to discover it but it says Please enter the private tracking number located on the Trackable itself in order to post a log. What now ??
Hi, thanks for watching and commenting. When you watch the video, you'll find six letters that make up the trackable code to be discovered. Use those six letters, go to the geocaching trackable website (www.geocaching.com/track/), and press Enter. You'll be able to log a Discover log on the trackable.
Don’t there are 6
There are six letters. Here's a hint: the letter that is made from a tree is the third letter.
I only found 3
Ubhfr, qbt, gerr, ynxr, sbbgoevqtr, qverpgvba
I found 4 maybe 5. But not all 6.
I tried hiding them in plain sight, just like geocaching. Thanks for watching!
I missed the first letter. Really gotta pay close attention
A couple hints in case you still haven't found the information:
1) The letters of the trackable code are shown in the correct order
2) The letter you see at the tree is the third letter in the code
3) The final letter is the chosen direction; there are four compass point choices and the main character chooses one of the four.
Geo Elmo Geocaching I was also missing the first letter. I saw it this time right away. Sometimes fresh eyes is all that's required. Still just about missed it though.
Can you tell me the code
Hi, I can't give you the code, that's supposed to be part of the puzzle. The first letter is probably the hardest; look carefully at the house when the main character visits his friend. The last letter is also difficult; look at the direction the main character heads at the end. Thanks for commenting and I hope you enjoy this video!
