Delightfully imaginative and creative sounds generated against a post-apocalyptic atmosphere of emptiness and a feeling of desolation. Is the chiming of the bells (heard twice) reason for future hope or simply a memory vestige of the past and not of this domain? BTW: The bell sounds like St. Stephen's in Vienna or perhaps St. Mark's in Venice. 😊
Another great piece, Marcus! (do you use field recordings as a basis for your compostions btw? or are the natural sounds sampled from some other source?)
Oooh Baba, these are my favorite comments. I like it when someone asks me how I make my compositions. All the sounds you hear in my work belong to me. I always carry the Zoom X6 recorder and record everything, any noise (doors, squeaks, gates, bells, cars... etc.etc.), sample them and add the effects (delay, reverb, chorus, distortion, to name a few). To do this I use my Yamaha Motif XF7 and sometimes the Arturia software "Pigments". Even the effects of nature, like rain, water, or wind, are my environmental recordings, sometimes I even use Rainsticks. I have many because I also use them to relax ;) . I do not use sound libraries, I hate them, I would not stand to use the audio material made by others. All this requires many days of work, and for this reason, soon I will abandon this adventure on YT. "So much work little satisfaction". Sometimes I listen to the work done by others, and I realize the poor quality with which it is done. But here quality does not count, here is important luck and algorithm. Thanks again my friend and forgive my outburst 🙏😀
@@MarcusPaltTheDarkSide So great to hear about your creative process, I'd been wanting to ask for a long time actually! I love the effort you put into these, I can totally relate to you wanting to stay in control of everything (it's very much my approach to art-making as well!) Sound librairies and AI suck. Your frustration about UA-cam is highly understandable, but you seem to be growing a strong fellowing so that's something you should be happy about! not much you can do about the algorithm, it's never been designed to favour real artists...
