Hands down the best scoring six footer in NBA history. Had he had one more all star by his side they would have stole that ring from the Lakers. And he invented the sleeve if you wondered where that came from...

This is why Iverson and Garnett are my favroite players if you go back to the Kings and T-Wolves series back in 2004 that series was almost like this, but this guy had 52 POINTS ON THE SAME NIGHT HE WAS AWARDED MVP NAME ONE PERSON THAT HAS DONE THAT BEFORE!!!!!!!!

Iverson took the worst team in NBA finals history to within 3 games of a championship. Tyrone Lue, George Lynch, Matt Geiger and so on, that is why he is a legend.

I love AI but Elgin's Baylors team was worse. But AI did it 6 foot and 165 pounds. JKidd also took his team to the finals back to back, kudos to these legends, we don't get to see anymore :(

as a Philly fan, I understand heartbreak...I couldn't believe Carter missed that shot at the end of game 7. Of course I was thrilled he didn't make the shot, but everytime I look at it, I can't help but feel that he shouldn't have missed that shot.

I watched every game on TNT that series and that series has to go down as top five playoff duels. AI seemed like he dropped 50 every game in Philly(except for game 7) and Vc would put on his shooting and aerial show in the AIR Canada Center. These guys brought it every game bro. Haven't seen a series like this since. I'd watched this series a million times over before watching the boring ass overrated Lakers-Celtics 7 game series.

@DeeSee25 Thanks bro and u just name three of my favorite players especially KD. They just haven't had that competitive spirit not only to win but to really wanted to prove that they were straight up better than their opponents also. Actually KD said on his twitter"Now everybody wanna play for the heat and the Lakers? Let's go back to being competitive and going at these peoples!" Thatz that ol skool MJ, AI and every great NBA player of the 80's and 90's, and b4 in this kid bro.

those were teh days. i think that years playoffs was definelty the best and the series between the Raps and 76ers was the best and most intense matchups because game 7 came down to 1 shot and it was Vince Carter. Know the playoffs are boring

@pajamadude15 ye that was probably the only good series but man if uwatched the series between the raps and 76ers or even the lakers and kings you would understand why those playoffs were amazing and not even just the those teams every team was exciting that year but man 01 was the year

Sixers vs raptors and sixers vs bucks Easter conference finals those where the best series I have watched both went 7 games with of course sixers winning by the time they got to finals to face the lakers they were just too tired lakers pretty much swept everyone up to that point while sixers played all of the 21 games to reach the finals not an excuses for sixers loosing however big difference between playing 12 games ( lakers ) 21 ( sixers) on top of that philly had couple injures plus Bell and Nene weren't good as they turned out to be I don't think nene played at all . After those crazy 7 game series vs raptors/bucks they just ran out of gas , plus they had great defense as a team and only 1 true scorer Iversons GOAT IF U ASK ME , I know mutombo was good but as good as he was on defense he just wasn't able to stop Shaq especially since he had no offense Shaq did use much of his energy defending there for he was dominant offensively. Iverson was better scorer then Kobe in those series but Shaq was a big difference make . If the lakers had no shaq back then only Kobe I believe sixers would have won the series and iverson would have won the ring still tho much respect to the great Allen iverson !!!!

@araynova Yea man, I always enjoy the "newer" athletes of today's NBA, but on the real, they don't have that same "it" factor as Vince and AI did in this series. Maybe these new crop of players like KD (Thunder), Evans (Kings), Wall (Wizards), and Griffin (Clippers) can shake up the politics of the NBA.

Horry has 7. And having more rings don't mean you're a better player. If that was the case then Mark Madsen and Brian Scalabrine would be better than Charles Barkley, Ewing and Malone which we know ain't true.

    How is his mom annoying?
She came from nothing and had a superstar son. So lemme get this straight, she's annoying because she's emotional when she sees her beast on the eastern conference, win MVP, and have enough money to help hisepileptic little sister?

  • @mACheavelli

calm down, ur gonna discredit him bcuz of his failure to win a ring, may as well as do that for t-mac, carter, kidd, lebron, barkley, drexler, a whole bunch of other muthafuckas that gave it a shot and didnt do it, not everybody can win a fuckin championship, jordan had his moments, 6 of them so if a guy that hasnt had any breaks his ankles let him have his fuckin moment
