- Patanjali has been snubbed by the Supreme Court over false advertising. The top court has said it will charge Patanjali with a rupee one crore fine for every false advertisement.

Why only Patanjali? Why not all the other brands like cosmetics, house cleaning, consumables, eatables like Maggie which says it has so many benefits whereas has none? Why aren’t those also considered along with Patanjali and other brands? And why not also fine those who promote those ads?
Dabur, Himalaya, etc like 100s of ayurvedic medicine brands are there in India. But no brand is selling using Hinduism as a tool for marketing their product except Patanjali.
@@naja-naja369 Great no one is doing that. I am not in favour of Patanjali either. My only point is why only Hinduism is considered. Is our body not important which is being affected by using products of other brands which are being advertised and are promoting wrong information? Why is SC not banning those as well?
Medicine is a big thing to claim and fool at.

mmm but my mother is diabetic and she used one juice for diabetic patients recomended by doctors and she brought that med of patanjali and it seems to have worked and she has been quite good and healthy !! and coronil was a great example and we might not forget that chawanprash was sold in market by patanjali ahead of mordern brands !!mm some things are quite ahead of proofs i guess

There have been cases where people have benefitted from these medicines, and I am not doubting you. However, there are a number of factors like DNA makeup of a person and peripheral parameters which allow bodies to respond differently to the same medicine.
But, generally, modern medicine relies on chemical reaction mechanisms and drug-delivery pathways to be designed such that a minimum level of efficacy is maintained for nearly anyone who consumes the drug. This is based on rigorous testing and that is what make the drugs expensive; not always are the companies trying to extort money from you, though that is true too.
Chawanprash is more of a food product and not a medicine, and it is almost always FSSAI approved so it is safe at least. It's ingredients provide your body a boost in ways eating healthy and nutritious food will do too.

Once upon a time one top brand said why cleaning rooth with neem stica, ash, Salt etc.
They criticised our ancient procedure and now they ask do ur paste has salt, neem oil etc.

Allopathy medicines are made by companies which "claim it to be" based on science. There are so many allopathic medicines in market which overclaim their effectiveness on n number of disease. Jut they do not achieve that. The side effects of those medicines are not told. This is clear violation.
allopathy has killed more of its patients in comparison the ayurvedic. Ayurvedic is the ancestral way of treatment in Bharat.
Then don’t go to them. When this baba got sick why did he not go to the ancient ways?

Please provide what the Dhongi Baba has contributed to the development of the country; he has looted the common man by supplying sub standard products claiming that they are natural and chemical free. Of course it's not Patanjali alone who is guilty, but a start has to be made somewhere. Previously HUL was pulled up by the supreme court with regard to false claims for ice creams. This is a right step in the correct direction.
