Diablo 4, Just recently purchased the game and it never occurred to me that blood mist can be used at the very start while lumping mobs together. Cheers that seriously changed my survivability and overall strategy which doesn't just act as an oh crap last minute save.
I’m running a very similar build, but curious why you don’t turn your bone Storm into a shadow skill? You have some lower performing aspects that seem obvious to swap out for this one. Also, thoughts on 2-hander with 240% damage vice the 1-hander setup? You lose some lucky hit and CDR, but gain a ridiculous amount of damage.
I am running something similar, but I have iron maiden and decripify. And with the brutal heart it automatically casts decrepify so it doesn't have to be on your bar. Then take the aspect that causes you to deal 40% more shadow damage to enemies afflicted by both decrepify and iron maiden and you have a monster of a build! I have tried all your other builds as well as builds from other folks, and this is the stronges one in my opinion. Some builds are strong, like the bone spear, but you are super squishy. With this build I feel like a tank! Also this is strong without the aspects as long as you have the hearts.
Hey! Love the use of iron maiden for the shadow damage with decrepify, only reason I didn’t opt for it is because I felt the damage was already enough, and you can allocate the skill points elsewhere for a bit smoother of a skill rotation cast/an extra tanky aspect if u want. But honestly really want to try that double curse

I feel like I've watched a lot of videos that's like here's the skills and here is my gameplay but then your stuck trying to figure out how people are pulling such crazy numbers compared to you. Breaking the fear down was nice too instead of just linking. Thanks.
Great content as always, good to see these new concepts being explored. I would take ‘Lidless Wall shield’ unique and get even more defence whilst giving the 5 bone-Storm procs. This build doesn’t really seem to need it but… still believe it’s an upgrade over the small loss 25% damage with barrier. And due to that I would change ‘Protector’ out for ‘Embalmer’ and scoop up constant blood orbs or ‘Disobedience’ for constant armour uptime. I might even then try and pull 5 points from the board to get .. - 1 point into Gruesome Mending - 10% more healing under 50% health - 1 point into Coalesced Blood - 6%x increased blood blood skill damage - 3 points into drain vitality - blood skills get 30% chance to fortify for 6% base life. That’s going to equate to a whole lot of fortify and healing. Might take a second longer to kill but might let you push to higher dungeons.

ok. I am a total noob. (well isn't everyone in this game at this point technically?)...anyways...I haven't done capstone for tier 3 yet. That is how new. I am not geared up for it just yet. BUT I just KILLED the BUTCHER for the very first time. With this build. haha. I am STOKED. I was yelling. Thank you. Great game memory. You rock and I am looking forward to what I can do when it is all geared up and I am taking on nightmare content.

Good build guide for just getting the basic build info out there for people to see but you should really add a segment talking about other options. For example why use a second barrier skill over Defiance? The increased armor generally makes defiance best in slot. Why put decrepify in your bar when you get it for free with the heart? Why not put one of the shadowblight damage buffing aspects in your amulet? Lots of optimization questions that you’ve missed the opportunity to explain. I’ve even been considering using a two handed sword for 2x the aspect of decay for 400% shadow blight damage. I just don’t have the second aspect drop to try it out.
Diablo 4! I love the fact you got a backup chair behind you in case your first chair breaks since u will be leaning back alot with this build as you enjoy the carnage on your screen.
Decent Build! Lacking some optimization IMO. I would swap the barrier chest spect for the Bone storm barrier as it will give more barrier more often. Ditch the reap for bone storm because it can stack shadow blight faster and gives survivability. Also maximizes the CDR you build for blood mist. Then you can slot Iron Maiden instead of decrep(as this is already always up even unslotted) and use the aspect to give x40% shadow dmg to targets affected with decrep and Iron Maiden. Huge damage difference. Also the glyphs should be shifted to maximize the on the main stat available on that board. For example the start board gives the most benefit from a glyph that scales from intelligence! In my experience this would take this build to an easy nm lvl100.
Diablo 4! Appreciate that everything was well explained and time stamped. makes it incredibly easy to go back and reference as i'm farming for the set!

So I have swapped Decrepify on my skill bar with Iron Maiden, so that I can use the Aspect of the Damned for 50% more damage against enemies affected by both. Since decrepify is auto cast via heart, it seems to work well. I don't see a reason for having decrepify on the bar. Am I missing something and shouldn't be doing this?

Going through the aspects is probably the best part. Videos nowadays just show the skill tree and send you off to Mobalytics. Thank you for sharing!
Build is freaking amazing. Took it with my lvl 56 necro and beat the capstone dungeon for world tier iv 16 levels below. Elias got his shit rocked

You can use something else in place of decrepit, that’s just what was being used when testing
