Same here. Most of the line is outstanding in my opinion. Elixir, Parfum, Prive and Lucky are my favorites. Once I smelled the Parfum is when I actually tried the line out and I wish I gave the others a chance before then.

Its best for spring. It smells like a rose to me at times. Its amazing. It definitely tranforms on skin. My favorite from line. Parfum is second.
It’s gentle yet masculine, has a very calming effect similar to an ASMR tingle. I find it endearing, but I’m sure it will vary person to person as most things do so I can only speak for myself.. Fantastic fragrance overall and I’m sure underrated as everyone seems to go for the original or the elixir, but I think I’d buy this over those as well. It can definitely “wow” you on the opening.

My dad wore the original Paco Robanne from the 70s. As a young teen in the 80s I followed in his foot steps. I strayed for a few years when I was in the Army but retuned when XS debut. One of the most amazing fragrances ever. Followed by XS pure. With the absence of XS I discovered The 1 million line about 6 years ago. I am amazed at how Paco Robanne can be so successful at creating these fragrances. I have received more compliments from women and a few guys wearing Paco Robanne than any other fragrance I’ve worn. Actually I’ve never received any compliments wearing other fragrances. Cheers…. Satisfied for over 40 years.

A guy on fragantica said it reminded him of Joop and I agree. I smelled the 90s in my head but couldn't put my finger on it but it's joopesque, not identical but that aura. Having said that I loved Joop and I really like this one.

I absolutely adore this fragrance, love both the opening and dry down. I’m a fan of the 1 Million range and sweet men’s fragrances in general. I also love the Emporio Armani SWY range.

Frag houses love flankers because they can reuse the same bottle design as well as take advantage of peoples compulsion to complete a collection.
I mix the 1 Million Elixir with the Royal 50/50 in refillable bottles, perfect combination.
It gets compliments.

I really wish we could get brand new fragrance releases instead of every fragrance getting 3-6 different iterations of the same thing.
Most brands do constantly release new lines - just unless the flagship product hits a home run, you're unlikely to hear it talked about as much.
It's just smart business sense that once you make a new fragrance that does become a smash hit, you seek to variate on it rather than just leaving it be and making totally new fragrances.
Plus if you look at the industry as a whole, not just singular brands, then there's new brands and new lines popping up all the time - one of the only issues is that in the internet age where everything can be catalogued and indexed, it's harder than ever to make a fragrance that stands out as truly unique and isn't just a variation on some other fragrance from a year or ten ago, even if it's a different brand and bottle.
Paco rabanne one million royal is amazing it has a little toned down sweetness and it very long lasting

Technically there was a flanker called absolute gold. It’s been discontinued for a couple of years now
I tried this one out today (but not on skin) and the opening was amazing, very sweet and fruity. I'm confused when I go to fragrantica because the accords they have there are totally different

I have the original as well as Elixir. Both sweet, with many feeling too sweet, especially Elixir. By the time you get in your car and get to where you’re going, you’re way past what you’ve experienced as far as the opening is concerned, so it almost makes zero sense to mention any disdain for the opening when it comes to having any concern about it. Every single time I’ve worn Elixir, somebody has said something positive. Both guys and girls. I can’t imagine this will be any different being that it’s the next 1mil flanker with just another twist, I’d gather.

@@emaadfurqan I bought mine I believe back in February. I honestly have not heard anything about reformulations. For me it lasts a long time and projects nicely.

I'm pretty sure the opening may grow on you after some time. I couldn't stand encre noire when I blind bought it and I was on verge of giving it away to my friend but I decided to let it stay with me a bit longer and now I think it's one of the best frags I have.

I completely understand what u mean about the opening. It's the same way I feel about Invictus victory. I think it's just a mess of sweet notes that's a bit off-putting to me while others really enjoy it

@besiano lala I don't know what it is with Elixir but it's just too much for me. The worst blind buy I've made besides another Paco Rabanne release Phantom. It might be the Devana that throws me off.

I'm big fan of the OG 1Million, used quite a few bottles and i also⁷l used 1million elixir lately not a fan of it. And for the Royal, i smelled it at the store, i find it a bit different, its not bad not my typa frag that i'd buy & wear !! I must it's the most mature one of the million line..
OneMillion remains a guilty pleasure for me, when I started getting into fragrances, I was all about OM Privé, from which I had a sample. I find the other flankers overly sweet and bubblegum-like, but ngl, I would by Privé in a heartbeat for nightouts. Otherwise, this line I find too youthful, and it lives somewhat of a revival, as a fuckton of people is using it again. For a sweet heavy scent I would rather go for a more mature choice like Red Tobacco or Men in Black.

Since based on fragrantica, lmlp is similar to le male elixir, and le male elixir have that same bit similarities with royal. ( Based on the votes there).?

Do the different 1million types actually smell different or once you have 1 you have them all? I love 1 million but I don't want 2 aftershaves that smell too similar in my collection. I like to have a variety. Love the bottle though it's tempting.
This one is in my bottom 2 of the 9 - ! millions that I own- Not terrible but not in top, either.

If you’ve never got your hands on Paco Rabanne 1 million absolutely gold pure parfum, then you’re missing out. It is hard to find, but one of a kind-I have a tester and an unopened full bottle to keep around.
You are absolutely correct- It is my favorite of the 9 types that I have- I have a back up bottle or two for all but Royal and the Cologne...- Original, Prive', Elixir, Intense, Absolutely Gold, Lucky, Cologne, Royal and Parfum.... ( 3 bottles of Prive' and 3 of Original)
Personally nothing so far beats One Million Prive, its really the best in the line, really disappointed that it’s discontinued
