I think they said Spoby eloped in the perfectionists, which is... more than some ships get. Still, really would've preferred it if we got to see them get this big, romantic send off like Ezria got. Also, Spencer and Alex S. were so good together and the show forgot about so much that they gave her evil twin the same name as him.
Totally agree it would've been great to see them have the romantic send off Ezria got! Yes exactly when they revealed her name was Alex all I could think was 'she dated someone called Alex in season 1 didnt she?' 😂
I agree!! I dislike how people seem to forget abt spencers first real relationship on the show. They had great chemistry and I really like the guy who played Alex I wish they would have kept him around
spencer and alex were great ! i definitely loved their chemistry and i believe if toby wasn’t a option i really only see her with alex and agree they would’ve been great together or after that andrew because i thought they looked great between their similarities and how she mentioned she thought his dimples were cute if only we saw something better for them.

Weird way but her short flings was always healthier then her long term relationships. Alex was definitely the healthiest one, I really love her with Dean, they could be really interesting especially if they got together after the time jump. Johnny and the London guy are actually good ones, if they hét a better writing.
But I don't like Spoby after Spencer entered into the Radley, they became toxic after that. If they break up, became friends and got together after the time jump, or the end of season 6 would be better.
I agree! Alex is so good. Diego Luna was acting his a** off during those three episodes
I loved Spencer/Alex (the boy, not her evil British twin). The scene where they dance in the kitchen lives in my head rent-free.
Spoby is my number 1 from PLL. I also did like the idea of Spencer and Caleb if there had been a world where Haleb didn't exist.

Whilst Toby is always gonna be the number one ship for Spencer, I actually really liked her with Caleb, I feel like they made a lot of sense (personality-wise) and yeah if it wasn't so complicated in terms of her and Hanna, actually were a great couple.
100% agree with the placement of alex omg..i loved that pairing and was rooting for them so much. i sooo wanted him to come back in the timejump like you mentioned, and honestly if he had i would rank him above toby. i really didn't like how rushed spoby felt at the end of the series especially with how most of their moments in season 7 were actually him and twin alex
I'm so glad you agree about Alex! Yeah it felt like Spoby was such an afterthought towards the end even though they'd been so strong in all the other seasons!

Rewatching the show recently and I came to realize that Spencer actually hooked up and been in a relationship with almost every EX-boyfriend of her sister and other PLL friends except for Ezra 💀😆😆
I also recently rewatched PLL! I loved Spaleb, just because I think they were a great dynamic duo. Especially when it came to solving AD's puzzles, things like that. It was a little shocking to see at first, but over the course of season 6 I got used to it. I lowkey hoped they stayed together, but once Hannah ended things with Jordan I knew it was over for Spaleb :( Also toward the end Caleb was being a bit dodgey and obviously Spencer deserved better

It’s interesting because growing up watching this show as a preteen/teenager spencer and Toby were always like my second favorite ship of the show ( Hanna and Caleb were always my favorite) but I really loved Spencer and Toby as well and I still love them but as I recently started rewatching the show and I haven’t watched in 3 or 4ish years, I don’t love them as much as I once did. I really like their build up in s1 and s2 they were pretty great but after that I thought they got quite boring and repetitive with their storylines and lost steam.
I do agree with your Alex take tbh if he was in more episode or seasons as Spencer’s love interest I might’ve even liked them better then Spencer and Toby. Spencer and Alex were so cute

Yes true. That night Ian says they didn't sleep together and Ally doesn't correct him so I think its true: they didn't sleep together.
But I think this is ONLY because Melissa showed up at the hotel jealous. Melissa and Ian got back together and Ian went into the bedroom where Ally was to get her to leave but she overheard him talking to Melissa and left on her own.
I defo think they would have slept together at the hotel if Melissa hadn't shown up because they were sharing the same room and there was a camera filming pointing at the bed.
So Ian is a mega sleeze. Its not like he realised what he was doing was wrong or anything. He prefered Melissa and she came back to him so thats why he didn't sleep with Ally.
Marco was one of the best background characters in Pretty Little Liars. He wasn't a corrupt cop or shady in any way. The elevator scene with him and Spencer was a little intense, but he and her did have some great chemistry.
Imo wren and Spencer would have been an amazing couple aside from the age and the fact he was her sisters ex . I also feel like the writers forgot the girls ages at times and the guys except for Ezra cause their is a cleared timeline from when he met Alison to Aria but not any of the other girls .

Alex and Spencer nailed the “lovers from 2 different worlds” dynamic and they looked great together, plus Toby caused Spencer a lot of trauma when he joined the A team and let Spencer think he was did, seasons 3-5 Toby is a flop
I agree with your ranking for the most part, but I honestly would probably put Spencer and Wren as number 3. I know, I know the circumstances of their relationship are not great with the age difference and Wren being with her sister and him ending up being evil and dating her evil twin, but I really liked them together. They had really great chemistry and I enjoyed their scenes together a lot. I agree if things had been different with them connecting after the time jump and taking away him being evil and with Alex, I think they could have been so good together and I would like to have seen that. Probably more so than her and Alex to be honest but they were fine too. Obviously, she was meant to end up with Toby which was fine. I liked them together. They were cute, but again, under different circumstances I really would have liked to see her and Wren be together.
My top one for Spencer was Wren!

Im glad to see so many Spaleb shippers! Spoby is always number 1 but i liked her and Caleb. I see a lot of Alex fans as well but i have to say, i was not a fan of him.

I really do wish Spencer and Toby would have got the aria and Ezra big wedding kind of thing at the end. I kinda hate how they ended the show it would have made sense if they would have picked up on a spinoff from the new five girls, Addison and Claire and all of them but if that wasn't their plan they should have, did maybe another time jump where we could see Emily and Alison get married Spencer, and Toby, Hannah, and Caleb have kids type of thing this ranking wasn't too bad, though I personally would have made Spencer and Toby number one of course number two would have been Spencer and Rin, number three Spencer and Caleb, number four Spencer and Marco number five Spencer and Dean number six Spencer and Alex , number seven Spencer and Johnny number eight Spencer and Colin number nine Spencer and Andrew, number 10 Spencer and Ian
omg, as Wren really evil in the end? bc in my opinion he was forced into the villain stuff like with his sperm making Alison/Emily's babies? then he got killed so am i missing something that makes him a villain (other than him being a bit of a nonce)
