If you want to start internship.. then first of all you should work in lower court, drafting from basic is not hard, people go there for internship, it is better if you spend more time in lower court. aur sbse bade chiz hai apko kam wahi sikhna chaiye jha jyda kam ho

@@ankitaverma6159 What's the use for college students to intern at High court and Supreme court is a big no for even fresh law graduates. Learn the basics of law procedure and how court works in trial courts. It will give you confidence. HC and SC are appellate courts vaha pe bas law point pe discussions hote he.

No, You should Not let go an NLU over any Private College.
go for NLU Assam if you are sure that you will fit in there nicely. the culture and people there are really different (in case you are not from that region), no cap its a beautiful place and it is a good college as well but be mindful of the fact that the culture/language might be a big barrier and you will find more people from north-east region as compared to the rest of the india. also, due to location and an inexperienced alumni base from that college, you will have to work harder and a little on your own specially for corporate.
in case you are not comfortable with the sudden change in almost everything, go to NIRMA, its a decent college (but really strict and overwhelming as well) it also has better alumni base (corporate specially) and exposure in greater as well.
if you desperately need that "NLU tag" (with means nothing if you are not from the top 10 colleges) better go to nirma

Di how you acquired drafting skills
By practising it. Do it more and more you will get the idea of how it is done. Drafting is not big task. Earlier it was considered a job for clerks. Argument is the real deal in the court of law. So focus on arguments, just know the basics in drafting and you should be able to draft basic things.

Go and intern under a district court advocate. He will teach you and guide you. Learn basic things like filing, documentations, court procedures etc. Do internships in District courts at least 4 to 5 then you can go to High court for exposure.

😅 they fight over our rights and yes lies in fact become necessary and are part of arguments
Advocates represent their client and there is nothing called lie in court of law. Both counsels are representing their version of the story.

You cannot practice in the court until you graduate and pass the Bar exam. You can intern under any advocate and learn the work from them, assist them on their office chores. You will be able to learn alot.

You'll have to mail you cover letter along with your CV/ Resume to the Advocate you want to work under, incase you are selected you will be informed within a few days.
