Entering final rounds of decluttering now to become an extreme minimalist. In this video I do discuss some of my personal values about why I would like to be an extreme minimalist whilst still maintaining comfort and without deprivation. 🪴🛏🛋🕯
I’m on my minimalist journey. I intend to become an extreme minimalist, I have 2 young children and minimalism has brought more calmness and realness to my life and hoping this will transition to my daughters and husband. We have recently moved into a larger home and many people don’t understand why I don’t want to pack it full of new furniture. I enjoy the space, light and calmness it brings. My plan is to hopefully be able to work part time so we are trying to become debt free at the moment to make this happen. I really enjoy your videos and it’s nice to see a minimalist from the UK to relate too
That is really lovely of you to say and i definitely agree that time becomes the most valuable thing when one really thinks about minimalism. I certainly value my time over having a full time job and perhaps more money ( that many people have, just in order to consume more). Our priorities change with minimalism don’t they. My mum had an expression that she use to say to me growing up and I think it kind of fits minimalism “you can spend all your time making money or you can spend all your love making time”. Obviously 🙄 the latter part she meant all the lovely and loving things about life that actually help us be happy and content 😊.
Hi from France ;) I discover your channel today :) your voice is so relaxing and your decor too :) you look like an angel ;) thank you for your content, very calm grounded and inspiring :) very pleasant :) wishing you all the best, ;)
@@SagelifeMinimalism oh thank you for having taken time to respond, kind of you :) and sincerely, I felt very lovely your decor and speech. I do not follow too much videos on line as I try to take my break out of compu :) but when I can, I would follow and have a check on your channel :) wishing you all the best :)
Just began my minimalism Journey I would looove to become extreme minimalist but I’m a hoarder and it super hard. I know I will feel better when I’ve got most of the stuff out of my home though, work in progress 😂
Yes everything is progress anyway… and sometimes I think extreme minimalism just happens because as you begin to part with some things it’s easier to part with more … good luck and best wishes on your journey 😊
@@SagelifeMinimalism thank you so much, you’re so right, I’m definitely finding it slightly easier the more I do it. Revisiting some areas too and managing to let go of more. 😁
Sure everyone should find their own path and Sagelife seems to have found hers. But you don't even have to go that far. A new trend is the "minimalist lifestyle." Living by bare bones. A way to not only cut many expenses but also to save money which will grow wealth. But is this good for you? As I told my own subscribers, I contend that instead of having an existence of "minimalism," living in a shack and a sleeping bag, you should adopt the mindset instead. In other words, you don't have to deprive yourself and suffer to have the minimalist mindset which will give you money to invest. The minimalist mindset person will buy only what he needs. He won't go in the winter without a coat but will by the cheapest one that does the job--not the designer label. He won't buy a 50K car when he makes 80K a year. He'll buy the 15K Honda Civic used one and save money on a lesser car payment, insurance and gas. He doesn't go to TGI Friday's every week--he goes once a month and grills at home the other three weeks. He brings his coffee from home and doesn't spend 4 bucks twice a day at Starbucks down the street from his office. See the point? You don't have to live like a monk. The minimalist mindset just cuts down on the unnecessary. If you do this you will find that not only do financial problems disappear but you will grow a ton of assets on the side. Hope this helps someone out there---Charles
