Yes it is possible. You can migrate Google GMail and Google Drive into Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online and OneDrive) without any third party tools. Now this doesn't mean that the tools no longer provide any value because there are definitely situations whereby the toolsets are an awesome thing to have during a migration. What it means is that sometimes the migrations are considered fairly simple in nature.
When this is the case then Native Tools can get the core workloads across into Microsoft 365 without a huge amount of work.

In this video series I have three sessions.
Part One
* The Discovery Process for the Google environment
* Extracting the User Lists and deciding who is migrating
* Creating the identities in Microsoft 365
* Enabling licensing for the accounts
* Preparing the accounts in Microsoft 365 for OneDrive migration
Part Two
* Preparing Google to extract the data
* Performing the complete Mail migration, showing it in real time
* Updating MX records for Mail Flow
* Forwarding mail from Google to Microsoft 365, for use in a 'Slow Burn' migration rather than a 'Big Bang' approach
Part Three
* Preparing Google Drive to extract the data
* Using the Native Tools in Microsoft 365 to migrate the data to OneDrive
* Discussion on issues in OneDrive during a migration
* Showing the data extract End-to-End
* Summary
All of these contain all the errors, mistakes, and things that go wrong along the way. I fix the problems in the video too, but this is all to keep the series more real world as this stuff always happens.
I do hope this video series is helpful for anybody needing to migrate from Google into Microsoft 365. Please subscribe to my channel to stay updated with new videos.

Mark - The Cloud Geezer
Hey Mark, after completing my second O365 to O365 migration, I'm just about to start a Google Workspace to O365 migration. As ever, your videos are a big help. Greetings from the old country ;-)
Thank you for that, I appreciate your thoughts. Have an awesome week. Mark.
Fairplay to Mark in addition to the fantastic video assistance he is more than willing to engage with any questions you may have on the process a rare breed itself in today's world. Legend 5*
Thanks James for those comments. Yes, more than happy to assist people. I love what I do with migrations and Microsoft 365.
Im in the process of completing my migration project. Thanks!! this video was has been helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Do you have the PS scripts you created somewhere?
Hi Al. I just updated the article to include those scripts that create the users and provision the OneDrives. Go down to the bottom of the article and you will see the update stamped as 30 Dec 2022. Thanks for commenting and Happy New Year.

Thank you for this video! Question: Is it necessary to create the azure accounts prior to the migration batch? Or does the migration batch create these accounts in the process? I don't see this step in other tutorials. Again thanks.
Hi. You do need to create all the accounts on the Microsoft 365. The identities need to me in place for the migration process to attach to and transfer the data.
Mark.
Thank you so much amazing explnation , Please mention in comments or your website powershell code that you use in part one , 👌👌✌✌
Are you meaning the creation of the User in M365? Email me at mark@thecloudgeezer.com and I we can chat.
Hello, i need this commandlist too :)
Will the emails get deleted from Google workspace during the migration process or it will stay in both locations?
In a migration using native tools for GSuite to M365, no the source is not deleted by the migration tool. Good to know, as if you perform a cross tenant M365 to M365 migration with the native tools then it does delete the source account.
How did you manage to get your domain healthy in office when you are still on Google? That is the part where i am stuck now.
Yes, without the MX records pointing to M365 it won't get into that state, however the domain is still active in M365 and you can continue onwards with the migration. As long as the domain is verified you will be able to apply the aliases to the user accounts and bring data over. Feel free to email me at mark@thecloudgeezer.com if you need to. Mark.
Where we can find the install module commands? I guess we need that too.
What Install Module commands are you thinking about? Drop me a note to mark@thecloudgeezer.com and I can help you out.
@@thecloudgeezer I figure it out. Thanks for ur reply.
