Minor correction for the commentator (you were my inspiration for playing Dutch!): Abus do not counter Light Cavalry anymore. Azaps do, but Shake did not have the cards to make them really viable in late-game. I think it is fair to say that bad deck choice/knowledge cost him this game many times over. And of course, he has a well-known tendency to just give up thinking if a match goes beyond 15 minutes. 😊
Greenwich Time 🕰, is *so* good at covering British's ☕ weaknesses.
Especially because without it British have no real way to heavily boom well, since their Manor House civ bonus has anti-synergy with building a bunch more TCs. Which is pretty bad versus Ottomans.
I think it basically has to be in at least 1 of your decks, as it is the MVP of many situations.

I tried it though. Sadly, it has too many mistakes and is often dated (esp. after major updates). Definitely would not recommend to beginners.

i feel like a lot of people dont realise just massing abus is really good vs comps like lionheart did. it does good damage against artillery, so really the only thing they woulda struggled against is the rockets
Stealth units are now revealed by all units , and all defensive buildings. A bit of a nerf to stealth units 😕

Trek Wagons are basically weaker War Wagons that get stronger the more villagers are garrisoned in them.
Bruh, they cannot attack haha, unless only when garrisoned?
@@SoldieRaoe They deal 9 damage per villager/settler garrisoned. With 0 damage with no villagers and up to 90 with 10 villagers.

Trek wagons are mostly used as damage sponges. 50% range reist is no joke.
They also *don't cost* population space 🚫🏠.
They have no attack when ungarrisoned, but they can still tank great with 50% ranged resistance and 450 hit points.
They are especially good with healing 🏥 effects, due to their high ranged resistance and adding more units capable of being damaged to the army.
Why does no one use the berber workers or the trickles geez

Why was Otto making cannons? tbh, once I saw the WW spam I would have just gone full jan/abus or even azap (idk how good they are, but they counter ranged cav right?) Bombards were just a total waste of pop.
Also had multiple chances to just end the game early, but sometimes people want to play lategame I guess.
You'd be surprised on how many people enjoy late game. Not a whole lot but still a bit more than what many thought.

South Afirca is an economic Revolt that Dutch and British can do, Lionheart (imo) should have sent the manor training card before doing this if he's going for an economic revolt.
One use for the trek wagons, (that i've never seen anyone do) is you could use them as a safe garrison point for gathering coin or hunt on the map. Otherwise though they are good at soaking up damage.
Can you train villies from the wagon after revolt? I think not, have done it myself
@@123youtoebNo, but you can still make villagers from Town Centers.
@@123youtoeb the brits have a card that lets them train villagers from manor houses. So if you're fast aging and you go up to a revolt you could then turn around and train 20 vils at a time from your manors to quickly catch up or exceed in eco.
It also helps a lot of if you lose a batch of villagers to raids

Manor training is a wasted card if you revolt to South Africa, Better to make dure to have both factories and save that shipment or go for another upgrade card

soldier, the native post requires a tech to train the mercs... they show on the ui before you build the nat post though (that's why you could see them before)
also, you missed the brit church card changes - they get age 3 rangers plus age 4 rangers (but no longer guard... another church card ruined on DE)
