TNT should have Inside The NBA operate on UA-cam independently...100% retaining all current employees. That way, they can get picked up by the highest bidder.

I think people dont understand how new the internet is. Back then the media earned the big bucks because it was the only way people had to watch anything. Now with the internet and the growth of numerous platforms like UA-cam, the revenue the media on tv used to earn was severely divided between all these platforms and people have way more other content to watch. Hence these media companies can no longer pay these guys millions of dollars.

With streaming services I don't think this will work out the way they think. Most restaurant bars and sports bars utilize cable tv because it's easier to access and just switch the channel. These establishments may or may not have the most technically savvy individuals.

8:00 the math is a little shaky. Amazon at $1.8B per year is $400M more than TNT at $1.4B per year. So over the 11 years of the contract they are gaining 4.4B not 44B.

Instead of increasing the supermax, why not have the league require that a percentage of the team salary budget be spent on non-stars? The disparity between the highest and lowest salaries on a team makes for bad basketball.
Especially given that most players are vocal supporters of democrats, who constantly criticize rich folks and "income inequality". If they aren't hypocrites, they would freeze the max level and raise everyone else.
