Congratulations on hitting 100K. Very well deserved!
Thank you and its been a while since I've seen you around, good to see you back. 😊
Amazing work as always👏❤️ If ever I get a new pc, I'll have to fly you in☺️ Or re-watch every video here
Always ready to build a PC for you! 😊
Thanks for the tip worked great!
Thank you for the content. My WD My Book 3TB stopped working recently, and the WD solution tool wont even recognize it anymore. I am wondering if the problem could be on the circuit board that you can dettach from the drive, or if the drive itself is to blame. You think that if I were to turn the drive into an internal HD, it would still be encripted? I know the password but I wonder if it would still work or not. Thank you ;)
wouldnt a molex to sata work better if thats the case its not showing up im back i would recccomend a molex adapter but get the crimped one not the molded one
I removed the casing from my WD 10TB drive but the SATA & power cables in my PC don't fit the ports on the drive, does the 10 TB model have different sized ports? Great video btw!
Wow 100k❤
Thank youu!! Didn't know you were keeping a track! 😍
Hello tech guy Charlie can you make a video upon changing hp pavillion laptop thermal paste changing bcz I always follows your video and if you do this I will know the correct way to do it....plz
I have the same WDmybook HDD and same PSU, but the drive is not spinning up. Nor is it being recognized in BIOS or disk management. Any ideas?
Could you try the 3.3v mod? 🤔I have a feeling you've got probably a different revision of the drive.
@@TechGuyCharlie holy cow! Ive been fighting this thing for 3 weeks! I picked up a SATA to Molex adapter, as mentioned in the 3.3v modification, and IT WORKS!! Im transferring my data to an SSD as we speak! Thank you so much for this! This is incredible!!
For the drives that have the connector soldered on.. cant you simply desolder it and it would work? 🤔
At that point i'd just grab an internal SATA drive rather than taking out of enclosure and desoldering to re-purposing it.
