    Thank you for this informative video. I have experienced this pain both sides. Luckily not same time. Pain has been exactly those places. When trying lift hand and reach something higher could be very painful. Same thing when sleep that flank. Trigger pressure has been helpful

    I get pain when doing push ups on my rear / mid deltoid and lateral tricep. Could that be?

    Hey Niel! Thank you for this one. Very helpful. Getting that burny sensation you are talking about but I'm trying to figure out what from so that I can avoid the same problem in the future. I am a yogi, and I am wondering if it's more likely that I'm internally rotating my shoulders and not using back muscles (rhomboids) enough during things like planks/pushups/chaturangsas, or if I'm OVER externally rotating them in downward facing dogs?

    Yup… triggered this hitting tennis balls. The stretch you prescribe helps a lot.

    Can this possibly radiate to the chest on the side it’s on. Because everytime I massage this area it alleviates the chest warm irritation. In the beginning I was getting the upper arm pain in the beginning, and no one could identify it 😢😢. It even got as worst as tendinitis. But now it’s just tight back there and that warm sensation. Feels like a heart attack but they say I’m ok 😢😢🥺🥺🥺☹️☹️ I’m going crazy but I hope this is it.

    Can you tell me how to ease that pain because that portion of my muscle comes up like a twist when I push it from the front it comes to normal form can u please tell me how to recover from that

    I need a thumb in there pressing and my wife’s is too gentle and therapist will cost me $80-90.

      Get a theracane!!! And try laying on hard foam massage balls - seriously, awesome relief
