Another great video. I’ve never seen anyone so hyped and excited as Kitra was to see giraffes🤣 That part when you’re feeding them had me in bits laughing, ‘I just want to lettuce’ as it’s sticking it’s tongue out😆
INCOMING GIRAFFE TONGUE!!!!! Hahahahaha! I haven’t been to an animal park since I was a kid, and I never appreciated it. Watching y’all makes me wish I could visit one right now😊
The giraffe encounter price can vary depending on a number of factors though if you have an annual pass you can get in on those tours for about $15 on some days. The animal encounters are always unique though depending on when you go. I remember my mom getting to feel a baby giraffe kick in the momma's womb when she did it once. It was quite the experience. Some times other animals may even get curious. We once had an ostrich that got very curious about us but since we had nothing for him he left after a while. If you think those are interesting though then you may want to also look into some of the other encounters. My mom has also been on the hippo encounter. Apparently some of the hippos are huge fans of bananas. You can offer them a mellon but they really love their nanners. The kangaroos often are fairly sedate most of the time except when they get hungry then its truly a feeding frenzy. There is also the lorikeet aviary which also lets you feed the birds. Just be warned though the birds can be real characters. They kiss. They bite. They poop. They will preen you. They will use any part of you they can to get close to that food. You will likely have up to 10 birds all fighting to get that sweet nectar goodness. My current record is 15 birds at once with nectar in booth hands. Great picture. When it was done they left me disheveled but with a couple great pics. The only other feeding I know of is the infamous thieves ie ibs, coots, and squirrels. The coots are my infamous twirk squad as they seem to do it most of the time while walking around. The ibis are pretty much as pervasive as seagulls and will beg right at your feet for food. The squirrels are truly a class unto themselves. They will climb into the trash to steal stuff from there. I remember once taking a selfie with a squirrel as it peeked its head out of the trash. It didn't even realize I was there till after the pic. Was funny as hell. BG is always a fun visit for me.
Looks like BG was a definite winner. We have been to some drive thru safari parks where you drive your own vehicle and can feed the animals through your window. I have some funny pictures of zebras trying stick their heads in the car and critter noses pressed against the windows. Always a good time. Makes a mess though.
My boyfriend and I did the trainer for a day at Blair Drummond Safari Park in Scotland and the Giraffe were some of our faves out of all the animals we got to hang out with and pet and feed. Those big slimy tongues were so strong haha
I remember going to the LA Zoo with my uncle and aunt and getting those wax figures of different animals and eventually those wax figures would become pliable and end up looking like abstract art! 😂
I love seeing the Busch Gardens videos, as it’s my home theme park. I live half an hour away and have been there more than any other theme park. I haven’t done the Serengeti Safari since I was a kid, but it looks great. Can’t wait to take my kids on it! 🦒🦒🦒
Hey guys, love your videos! I’m a Tampa native and we constantly just take the 15 min drive to BG. It’s such an underrated park. Wish we had been there while you were! We would have loved to show you around
This is so awesome! Giraffes are my favorite animal I love feeding them every time I go to my local zoo what a neat experience and ordinary adventure! 😄🦒
Just about to sit down and watch this with my girls! Busch Gardens isn’t on our list of place to visit when we go to WDW next Easter, but maybe another holiday is required!!!
There's a place in Arizona where you can feed the giraffe by holding the lettuce out in your mouth and you will get "kissed" by a giraffe! You can also get really close to the other animals, as well.
Two things for this video -- 1) Liking the new intro; very animated and colorful. 2) Way back in he day (like the early 80s, the *Los Angeles Zoo* had those molding machines and it cost (if I remember correctly) $2.00 to $3.00. I had one of molds and I think it was made with some kind of plastic (maybe wax). BTW I like Kola Bears and Kangaroos too.
Dont be scared for the giraffe peter, worse they can do is slobber on you. I have been lucky to stay at Giraffe Manor twice in Nairobi, where you have breakfast with the Rosthchild giraffes. Amazing experience. For $50 that is a great experience! those giraffes love a treat.
That is soooo amazing!!!! I need to do that next time!! Feeding giraffes such a unique experience and that rino toilet lol!!!!! There is a petting zoo at AK... Don't remeber where it was but not like these experiences were!! We did wild Africa trek at animal kingdom and it was one of the best experiences of my life...... was such an epic few hours on the safari.
I was pleasantly surprised by how chill the giraffes and kangaroos were. A literal rhino dung heap. lol Penguins so awkward on land but graceful in water. #natureiscool Thanks for sharing.
Have you guys ever done one of the giraffe feedings at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park? We’ve been thinking about doing that encounter, but it’s a lot more expensive than the $50 extra at Busch Gardens! Looks like fun!
Those are some very patient sweet-natured giraffes! Got to do something similar at the SD Zoo Safari Park at a Member event about twelve years ago (ours liked banana leaves!) and it’s really a neat experience...they’re tongues are REALLY articulated, almost like our fingers
I havent been to my local safari called niagara safari in stevensville in a few years . Same kind of animals . I never fed a giraffe before . Been on elephant rides and camels. This place looks fun .. have fun .

I have a good friend that works there, she told me that you were there. I have completed that safari. Last time I was there a Rhino came right up to the stopped train I was on, I was 2 feet from him. No I didn't touch. Got a great pic. This is a fun experience.
This is such a amazing experiences and the joy in both your voices as you get some hands on beautiful creatures. An such a good deal. Would you feed gators at Gatorland and be about 6 to 8 feet from them next time you are over here?
The kangaroos and giraffes are so cut I fill like jumping in the screen take couple of pictures and feed them. Though I don't know how to swim but I am ready to jump in the water with the penguin as they are my favorite birds.
