Loved Rock!!! I used to think him & Doris Day were married in real life. They made such a perfect couple. But then I grew up & learned they were just acting. Loved him & Liz in Giant & Him & Jane Wyman’s two movies that I saw I have recorded. I watch them periodically. They never get old. Yeah things were way different back in the day. Being born in 1957, in rural America, we got one local channel on TV. But hey,,, At least we had one. Most did not. Daddy was a repairman so other folks trash became our treasures. How I’d love to go back if only to visit.

I remember it was said back then all was destroyed; they were afraid about AIDS in that time. He was buried without a big burial, but lonely, and as if he had such a very infectious African illness, which kills everybody. I remember his house was full of petition point- things, which he loved to do in frwetime, and how they wrote that each would have been a treasure in other times, but nothing survived. Of course; , the money was left over. I never read about it. I WISHED Doris Day had got it. She loved him dearly, and other than his last guy, who filled the papers yelling around how mean Rock Hudson was, because he was ill and yadda yadda, she was really grieving. And she had nearly no money left, her husbands have stolen it. I know she did not get it, but wished she had. She still cared for him and stood at his side, and made photos with him when he was ill. The other refused, threw even dirt.
Both sweet souls; they should have married, even if they would not have sex.

I recently read that the bulk of his estate went to two actors. These two actors were in a relationship at the time of Hudson's death.
They have both passed away. I think they were together until one of them died.
