Thanks for your great reviews. I see that Halo has refurbished 2nd generation collars for ab $200 cheaper than 3rd gen. Fo you feel the 2nd gen is comparable to 3rd gen?
Thanks for the review. I was wondering, like the other commenter did about false correction while in the house (non metal roof) and barn as well as garage (metal roofs)m. Also wondering if you’ve set up any fences in wooded areas or right beside wooded areas as my property is quite wooded (northern VT) and if so, what your experience was like. Thanks.
Good question - it rarely happens - seems to be more connected with their earlier versions and since the halo 3 I have not had the false feedback in the house at all - However if I did have it, all I did is calmly take the collar off, and recalibrate it.
Do you notice of they get accidental beeps or feedback when indoors? Where gps is not as good. We have a metal roof barn and i had cheap versions loose signal and correct the dog just laying in the barn
On the older ones I had periodic instances of that I have not with the newer one … sometimes I’ll get interference in my garage and so I just expand the boundary.

Halo doesn't work at all. Don't buy it.
The GPS fence ; what is the total feet of corrections depth and does the fence drift ? if so about how far ? Thanks
This product doesn't work. Trust me you don't want it
I do not recommend Halo - they refused to credit a purchase I sent back unopened. I purchased two of these Collars and first tested it on my one dog it was so unreliable I decided to send the unopened one back.
So you can walk with the beacon and keep them with you???
Correct you can create a safe zone or a keep away zone.
Our Halo 3 Collar just shocked our dog while he was sitting on our couch inside. Please DO NOT ever use this!!
Halo is a garbage company. The collar doesn't work, customer service is horrible, the app is trash, so is the website. Basically nothing works for $600 and you get to go through the super awesome mail return process.
