Love this song. I just filed for divorce after 30yrs. My anniversary is this Saturday. He moved out yesterday. Its hard but I had to do It. Couldn't wait for the holidays to past. I feel sad. Even though he was verbally and emotionally abusive I still feel as if someone died and I've suffered a loss. Been with him since I was 15. He's six yrs older than me. Kelly IS one of "The Greats". Her vocals are timeless they live in a space where there is no autotune or even microphones that enhances your voice. Kelly's vocal abilities are God given. We truly are blessed to have so much access to such amazing singing on a daily basis.

I caught this the other day. There are some big risks vocally in this song that she nails with aplomb, and I love the rhythm and swing to the piece. I don't know her singing well enough to say if it plays to her strengths, she's just that amazingly awesome, or both. This is an "instant classic" and I'm so glad to hear it again! To me the motif near the end is reminiscent of "Be in My Video" by FZ, but it could just as easily be The Four Seasons, it fits a lot of old R&B. I really dig it. I love this! Now I'm going to have to get the album, which is missing The Christmas Song.
