This is a great channel for people wanting to know about typical, family owned, dairy farming in the USA. It’s wholesome, very interesting and informative and Eric does a fantastic job showing and explaining the everyday, wide variety of events/jobs that are needed to maintain and improve a successful family dairy business. One of the best things I have seen over the few years of being subscribed to his channel is that Eric appears to put all the revenue from his videos back into improvements and advancements to his family’s farm, which ultimately benefits all USA citizens who use dairy products! Many Kudos Eric! Keep it going so everyone knows how their dairy products are produced and the massive effort it takes to produce a gallon of milk that cost only 3 or 4 dollars a gallon to us at the store. The farmers receive far, far less than that to produce it!
Yea those hard black pipes our not cheap , know that for sure. Cleaning up the storage shed cool. Got to have plenty of room for your silo components . We our finally getting a storm coming t through for two and a half days of rain need it bad. Praying you guys don’t get down with the flu virus that is going around it’s no picnic that’s for sure.
To help your issue with the planter going in the ground, you need to add weight to each row unit. Adding weight to the main frame won't help nearly as much. Lots of parts interchange between a john deere 7000 or 7100 planter and your kinze. That may help in searching for a down force kit. I would use air bags because they are much simpler of a system.
Im interested in the results from no till planting. I believe the type of soil matter a lot and you have clay similiar to our area in Canada. Cheers 🇨🇦
Good video , shows all the different jobs on a farm . Never can have enough tools , spare parts and time . Then on the other hand : A day has 24 hours and if that’s not enough we have to use the hours of the night !😊
Nothing like having to go through stuff you’ve been saving for years for those “ just in case” needs. Then you wind up with stash of 200 five gallon buckets or a bunch of tires that dry rotted. Well there’s always FB market place.
Hi from New Zealand. Just found your channel and have been binge watching all the episodes. Great content. It blows me away the amount of infrastructure and machinery etc you guys invest in to run a dairy. Is it actually profitable?
Welcome! Yeah it all fits within the business. We sell over 6 million pounds of milk a year plus beef so there is enough revenue there to justify some investments in buildings and equipment.
As a Cannabis grower, the variance in different genetics will never stop fascinating me either. The differences in smell and taste are really mindblowing.
That corrugated drain pipe likes to “float “ in muddy soil. Maybe drill holes in the outer layer 180 degrees apart. Guess you gave up on the cordless grease gun ? Back up diesel generator?
Speaking of getting rid of things you really don't need anymore...I'm from NY and looking for tire sidewalls for a small drive over silage pile...what are your plans with all of your bunk tires pm me if you would sell some thanks p.s. my favorite you channel... excellent/relevant content!!
hi, I wonder, would a two hose per row liquid dribbler be useful to fert the corn at a foot tall, a dry year it would work famously and free fert, woohoo
Holy Buckets! …that’s a lot of buckets

The plumming fixture you replaced on your water hose reel is called a rotory union.
ive been wondering where i left all my white 5gallon buckets
Definitely can’t have enough!
That’s enough buckets to buy 1 bull calf.
Never seen so many buckets
You every watch or visit a dairy farm or just seed farms you’ll see a lot of 5 gallon buckets every where.
Happy 4th🇺🇸 to all the 10th Gen family and critters! Be safe!
Good to see you pushing your family farm forward. Us older guys sometimes need a kick in the pants to keep us moving forward as well.
Interesting about the corn at the end.
YOUR CROPS ARE LOOKING FANTASTIC!! HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY 4TH OF JULY
Fluid Film works great to coat bare disc's like that. It wil prevent it from rusting while not in use
Holy buckets 😂😂
THAT’S a lot of buckets!
Would love to see more soda jokes here and there. Lol those were fun

I can't wait to see your new feeding system in operation! Keep the updates coming!

Miss the random basketball shot. 😢
If the world ever has a shortage of buckets you guys will be millionaires!!
Great Video, It's good to see the season settle down and you can catch up with the maintenance and capital jobs, thanks for sharing
Lead ballast blocks would work well for the planter.
Eric great improvements to the farm. 👍👍👍👍
Prayers 😊
Boy that corn getting tall big time
Lead ballast. Would be nice. Probably need to start looking now. No need to wait until the last minute to decide what to use
Looks like the non BMR corn is what I would go with too. You and your dad sure do have a lot going on, good luck with all of it. Have a nice day!
Wholesome content as always. Thx 10th Gen.
The Hoof GP sent me! I enjoy your channel! 😊
Great video brother from the imperial county California 👍🇺🇲🚜🐐
Thanks for sharing some odd jobs around the farm. Happy Fourth to you and your family.
Always love your videos
109 degrees here in California today 😢. Thank you Eric for another fun video!
Do you have a spread sheet or something to help keep track of all your things you need to PM? (Periodic maintenance)
Awesome video Eric. thank you very much
Keep the videos coming!!🎉🎉
Watching from South Africa
Eric we need to see some more sodas hiding around the farm
Love to see ya'll maintaining your equipment. Never put em away rode hard and wet!
Was that a left-handed pipe wrench to go with the drew-scriver?
Nah, it was a metric pipe wrench!
8:46 I don’t know about y’all, but I was holding my breath and grunting right along with Eric!!
great to see 🚜
Curious if you have any videos on how you manage flies.
Awesome video Eric. You're definitely rocking them. 🚜🚜🚜
Can't wait to see the robots doing their job!

Another great video
Another great video!!!
Another good video. Finally! Teflon tape applied in the correct direction!
Good stuff Eric
8:20 - "Drew Scriver". That right there is how you know he's a true mechanic. :D
All good
Could you fill the bins you don't use with sandbags or something similar for extra weight?
Very nice crop
You didn’t need to buy pipe if you just bought a ton of duct tape and cut the bottom out of those white pails
How often do y'all get paid by the dairy that buys your milk? Monthly?
Nothing like having to go through stuff you’ve been saving for years for those “ just in case” needs. Then you wind up with stash of 200 five gallon buckets or a bunch of tires that dry rotted. Well there’s always FB market place.
Great video again, Eric! Your no till drill, that a John Deere 750 15 foot? Looks nice! Happy 4th of July! Keep cool!
It's a Kinze 2000. Basically the same thing as a John Deere.
Hi Eric the corn and beans look very nice.

I’m a new viewer, just watched your bloopers, you need to drink more soda now.😂 Dr. Pepper
When are you going to make a blooper video? I know you have some!😂😂😂
Always use teflon tape and pipe dope on water connections
I wait for the days when Eric posts a new vid.😀
CRC Rust-Block water based and you can get it in buckets.
As a Cannabis grower, the variance in different genetics will never stop fascinating me either.
The differences in smell and taste are really mindblowing.
That's what I said about your wife 😂
@@Thebigtipper101 The one thing i'm sure about is that you wouldn't say that to me in person, coward.
Hey Eric Pimp the planter with airbags Bud!
If you fill the frame with rebar, would that cause a rusting issue? Maybe fill some pvc pipe with concrete and insert in frame?
That corrugated drain pipe likes to “float “ in muddy soil. Maybe drill holes in the outer layer 180 degrees apart. Guess you gave up on the cordless grease gun ? Back up diesel generator?
case ih 1200 planter.
Concerning news in today paper about milking "claw" transmitted bird flu~! Was relieved to not see PA mentioned. Healthy summer to all.
7:08 Oh shit...
You are fear mongering 😆
@@Thebigtipper101 No zombie apocalypse, just a wallet-smashing reduction in milk production.
Just spray with diesel fuel cheap and works great
Good show Eric. Nice changes your making.
We're you from bro...huge love

Watch what you throw away you’ll need it tomorrow
You say your farm is in Canada. But when I sent for. My sweatshirt than you say Penn.😊
is the corn for silage or grain? fodder vs cob
Silage.
Will you do disk work after this season
do you feed the cows the soybeans you grow? If so, does the weed killer get into the beans? Does the weed killer make its way to the milk?
Fluid flim
May I ask if you will be selling your tire sidewalls? I am in central pa and looking for some, but not 3000 from the Wisconsin!!
❤
My corn is big
I'm the big tipper with the big dipper 😮
I don't think you need more weight on the planter if you tilled the soil before you planted.
You need to do your video editing in your house then write off that portion of your house on your taxes.
trade planter in for a 1208 white planter.
hi, I wonder, would a two hose per row liquid dribbler be useful to fert the corn at a foot tall, a dry year it would work famously and free fert, woohoo
👍👍👍💯🇺🇸
Do you roast any of your beans for feed ?
🇨🇦👍
Hope you got over your virus.
Are you associated with Weavers across the street?
Thanks
Did you not like the battery grease gun?
👍👌❤️🇨🇦
👍 🥛
If you move your office into your home, can you use it as a tax write off?
❤ YOU ERIC ❤
Are you a Walking reamer?
@davidcantu824 Gaaaaaayyyyyyy!!!! You make me sick.🤢
