Good tutorial, but perhaps it should start with saying something like 'select "video" as what type of project you want to create...' then start with the tutorial on creating the video animation. I'm new to canva, it's not simple (and I've used DaVinci Resolve for years) and folks need to know what kind of a project they are doing. A blank video project. I guess I will get the second 5 second section as well as the connecting section figured out as I go on.
You are right, I'll make sure to keep that in mind for future videos. I appreciate your feedback! It really helps to improve the content on this channel. ♥ And if there's anything specific or topic you'd like to see in upcoming videos, feel free to let me know.
Hi there, a really burning question here that I want to ask, is it possible to move the map in the same motion as the line extending after zooming in? If not, I may have to use another software... :(
Yes it is quite possible. Try animating the map in the same manner as I've done in this video with the car. Let me know if you'd like me to make a quick tutorial about this. ♥
Unfortunately there's no option currently for customizations using the Google Maps app in Canva. My advice would be to make a screenshot using a browser with only the street names, and import it into Canva. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to shoot them my way! Hope it works out well for you. ♥
Thank you! Actually, you CAN delete the red route. It's up to preference really. Just skip the part about drawing the line first (start at 2:20). The reason I created it this way, is to use the red line as a guide.
To achieve the angled look, you could use the Skew app! Make sure to download the map as an image first. Drag & drop it back into Canva, and open the Skew app to angle it as desired. Let me know if this helped! ♥

@@courtcrea. Yes please 😄
From maps app, how did you remove the businesses signs and just show the street name with the pin location. Need this right now 😢😅

Great vid. Shame you can't delete the red route line and just have the moving car.

@@courtcrea. Many thanks for taking the time to reply.
What's the custom size
The design dimensions in this tutorial were optimized for video: 1920 x 1080. Perfect for bringing your creations to life on screen! 🎥👍
At 41 seconds, how did you change the map angle?

@@courtcrea. Thank you so much! I will try that.
