My full reaction to Baby Lasagna is up now on my members only here:ua-cam.com/channels/nqNXDg48hO2PMcAf08cuDQ.htmljoin i will be also doing this on Sunday after the results here on my channel :)
The more I watch Baby Lasagna, the more I freaking love it, adding the digital dancing animals was a brilliant move, and takes it to the next level. 🎉🎉🎉
And there not just dancing something they are dancing Kolo, the croatian traditional folkdance 😭🤍 He and his dancers are actually also dancing it or some of it during the Rim tim tagi dim parts of the performance. I love it so much
Baby Lasagna said in an interview that he is a big fan of Kaarija, that he watched in at Eurosong and was very sad when Kaarija didn't win. So yes, there is an influence. Although I think he should've stay unique and leave the outfit from the music video choreography to the Dora performance as well.
Watch video without sound. Focus on dancers, you will se that the dance is there, and guys on music instruments have the same hats as on the official music video. Too bad producer is bad.
@@im.joeyb. of course he didn't invent them but that doesn't matter. Casual Eurovision viewers are still going to view Baby Lasagna as copying the previous televote winner. It's a bad choice to use those sleeves.
I believe it would be quite opposite, casuals won't notice it that much as diehard ESC fans unless the word about traditional Istrian clothing reaches them. But nonetheless, I think he should change the outfit anyway if he wins@@mirroroffthewall5932
One boy who was a reserve, who had to figure everything out by himself in a month and a half, and who felt a lot of pressure from the Croatian and European audience, in the end everything ended well. Now everyone is looking for a hairy egg. You can see that he enjoys performing, he also has the desire, maybe last night was too big, but he is not to be blamed, he is nervous, but now the ice is broken, until tomorrow, not to mention until May, it will be even better. Maybe the costumes from the video are better, but these sleeves as well as the vest can be seen on every Slavonian male and female costume, as well as on most Croatian costumes from all parts of our beautiful country. I saw the page of the girl who made the costumes, and kudos. Nothing to do with the Finn from last year. Not to mention how the scene is limited to 6 people, and not to mention the money that needs to be invested. Come on, be realistic. Vocally, he needs to work, but he himself admitted that he moved the microphone away from his face due to excitement. When you read the comments of people who listened to it live in the studio, they said that it was like a concert when he performed, and professional singers, they said that he has vocals but needs work. With the fact that HRT bribery and corruption are taking their toll. The camera doesn't follow him or the scene at all, these dancers, when you look a little closer, are great, but the production, just because he is the favorite and because he has impressed everyone there, wants to sabotage him. Do you think that talent for singing is enough without work, we had the opportunity the last two nights to make sure that none of all the talents have any idea about singing, except Vinko and Kedža who stand and sing ballads. Marko is young, inexperienced, but he has the will and desire to work, he himself knows where he made mistakes. Thank God, his brother is in a big band in Germany, for which Marko also wrote songs and I believe that they will help him as well as his music teacher from school who said she wanted to. The audience had their say last night, both ours and Europe's. Everyone is now looking for some kind of perfection from a guy who is just entering the scene. But it's important to be a little imperfect, and that's the charm of life. He conquered the audience with his modesty, simplicity, desire and precisely that imperfection. Maybe he will, maybe he won't win at ESC, but he brought something new to the Croatian music scene that was missing. All the best songs in the world were written back in the 80s of the 20th century, that's over, now they're all a variation on the theme. Marko/Baby Lasagna, kudos to you, fly now, relax, enjoy, you've been my favorite since January 5, 2024, when the songs from this year's Dora came out. I voted for you last night, and I will vote for you tomorrow too, I dont care about the bill 😂, I believe it will be even better and stronger. Thank you for everything, the only one who understood the essence of ESC, the only one who enjoyed and left his heart and soul on that stage, easy for haters, stick to us who support you and your loved ones. I believe that mom and dad are proud primarily because they raised you properly, and they support you in this circus (in a positive sense). Good luck Marko. The nation is with you. ❤
Good job you are doing about ESC.... Compliments....👌🙂 All the best from Cr🌞atia. P.s.,.... you have a great microphone...voice is perefect....allmost ,the sound of the room can be hearing👍
In what was given BL did well. Its absolutely the best option they have got. Hes got time to improve vocally, pre parties to get more used to stress, better production in Sweden, hopefully a team who would have help tidy his vision. This are the things he can absolutely improve, the song is very good it would be a pity to lose it, too much potential to waste.
Stop be so toxic....you guys read what wrote a person under your comments? Baby Lasagna was so nervous, because of the expectations.... and you guys why do you always look for similarities with last year's Eurovision? read the answers under your comment, and you will see people commenting, and say the sleeves are not Kaarija copy, that is a croatian traditional outfit's part. Good video as always Noosh, love your reactions, I find them interesting, and fun to hear.
Marco, the real person behind Baby Lasagna is NOT a singer. He is a brilliantly talented songwriter, mixer and recorder. He has experience in the band Manntra as a guitarist and that's it. He's NEVER stood on stage before and sung. BL can improve his vocals with the right coaching and money put forward towards his staging. He NEEDS to replicate the music video more with his outfit and traditional dances.
Love all your videos Noosh. My feeling with Baby Lasagne is this - the song grew on me more a bit like yhe change in Croatia betting odds they went 3rd. But then when I saw the performance live it was less impact full. I had wondered how they would replicate the traditional farm theme which I believe makes the song more credible and it was totally missing for me in the live performance. That said I can't see them being allowed to take livestock onto the stage lol. Looking back at the odds now they have drifted alot and I understand this. Belgium/Italy all the way for me so far. Thanks again for your videos. David Leeds UK
a few nice songs... but only baby lasagna has a potential.... swedish melodifestival contestant fröken snusk on the drums and keyboards 😆🤣😂... its a little bit chaos and not really a staging concept... when the stage is completly green and there s a techno breakdown : we expect something "special... something 2 happen" ... but nothing happens... beside the lacking vocals... this needs a big revamp....
I think baby lasagne vocals need to be addressed and staging can be improved. Needs to stick to the like in the music. Don't imitate Kaarija. Do what is stated above and this song will win.
I got very excited about the entry but was a little disappointed. Audio (mixing?) and vocals need to improve. It was also quite hard to hear the lyrics, I wish it was more story-telling and less typical rock performance with pyro (but keep the pyro). I think they should use visuals to show him leaving his home, have the visuals take us from a small hometown to a bigger city/independent future. "Bye mom, bye dad Meow, cat, please meow back" This line has to get the respect it deserves. Then the visuals would get more "big city" and "anxiety attack", remove natural elements and the traditional stuff, and he becomes more alone. I'd also change the clothes, I don't think Baby Lasagna is a "Käärijä copy", people throw out "copy" and "plagiarism" far too easily. The stuff the two have in common, I like. Except for the sleeves, people will definitely think of Käärijä. Baby could have something like in the music video, something traditional, and maybe remove one piece like a vest or jacket at some point, to see him also change as he wants to "become one of them city boys". Oh and the Käärijä green at the dance break is also pushing it a little. He could undress/change clothes here if the dancers take this part. The clothes now look a little too costume shop. I would love to see the dancers in actual national costumes rather than this. It would be fun and interesting to see them headbang in that. Or something more form-fitting but made of those traditional patterns and fabrics (fabric change of symbolic clothing easily looks tacky). This is a high energy song, so it needs high energy elements. I'd have the dancers start off with him but have them move far away from each other, and use shots of the dancers to create more action. The dancers will be the town he left behind. And I think Marko is better looking than came across at Dora. This feels a bit like overstepping but I think he should have the hair colour he has in the video, partially because it suits him better, but also because Mustii is also platinum blonde and it works better for him + they are close in vibe. I'd also shave his moustache and go easy on the eyeliner. I love the idea of crochet on the drums, it just looks a bit sloppy. Crochet could be included in other ways too, on clothing or on screen.
My problem is they’re not all bad at singing they’re all copying the background music of popular songs. Like the women singing diamond just copied the metrics of last years tattoo
