My EXPERIENCE at PORTAVENTURA during COVID-19..

- Since the prime minister lifted some lockdown measures, all theme parks in the UK were able to reopen including that of Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Since then, more measures have been lifted allowing travel to foreign countries to be possible - meaning we could take a visit to Portaventura World in Spain! Here's my experience there with all their new measures for preventing the spread of the virus, and how i found it there. Enjoy!

Absolutely love this park! Kind of guessed it would be the guests who ruin it. The amount of queue jumping was insane when we went there last year, so not surprised haha.

I saw you watching the planet coaster on console premier are you going to be doing a series on it ?
Going there in a month and I'm sad to hear they skip rows in coasters. It's been proven time and time again that almost all of the infections happen indoors, and the difference between filling up a car completely and just filling it up halfway is not gonna be noticable at all in terms of Covid cases. In terms of throughput and line length, it's gonna make a massive difference. I doubt we'll be waiting less than 60 minutes for any coaster while we're there.
Just went to Chessington, most new rides don’t use fast pass lol
Dean2 none of them are at Merlin parks at the moment. They’ve completely illuminated fast pass for this year

I really want to go to port soon but from Gatwick I can fly directly to reus airport so how did you get there?? Assuming u went by plane what airports did you go to and how did you get to the park? Thank you.
I was going to go in the next few weeks but now cases in Catalonia are soaring, wouldn’t be surprised if the park is closed down within the next few days, probably not worth going there right now

Restaurants such as Iron Horse and the other one in Mexico (not Cantina, that’s always closed) only open on Saturdays.
It’s sad that people didn’t follow regulations on your visit, but I’ve been to PortAventura 3 times since it reopened and most people seemed to follow them!

You can go and queue up for rides as you would normally at the park 👍🏻

Flights are super cheap. Look on Skyscanner for the cheapest flights

TBH been here 7 times in the past 3 years, kinda boring now cos you do everything and then it's just lapping shambhala and sometimes Khan, cos baco is shambolic. So that's my experience

Yeah I cannot motivate myself to go to any park until the masks are gone, I absolutely HATE wearing them with a passion and it would ruin any trip, particularly one where its like 30 degrees haha
Better get used to it they are going to be around for a long time!
@@travellerjames They are barely enforced at the moment, so I hope not. I don't mind wearing one on rides but if it is mandatory around the park I'm more than happy to stay clear indefinitely lol
He estado en Portaventura este fin de semana 1 y 2 de Agosto y para nada se cumplen las normas de seguridad. En las filas no se respeta la distancia de seguridad, la gente fuma en las filas, no todo el mundo lleva mascarillas. Creo que este video no enseña la realidad del parque, la gente no respeta mas direcciones. Hay una patrulla Anti-Covid 19 que no existe, apenas ves gente. Videos como el vuestro no enseñan la realidad. Quitan atracciones, no hay shows y las tiendas cerradas. Ofrecen menos servicios por el mismo precio en la entrada. UN ROBO.
