I have not long subbed you, you are inspiring me to move from a tent to a motorhome when finances allow, so many advantages to having a motorhome. Keep the good videos coming really enjoy watching them.
I waved as you drove past Swindon... always enjoy watching your travels. I'm saving to buy my own motorhome, in the meantime - I am living the dream via UA-cam :)
Bob, sounds as if you may be starting with hay fever ! Another site to put in our must visit list ? I thing I am now out of sync with your videos, (today is Thursday 21 June ). Have spent a day going to York to have our Swift Towbar rewired, the Sergeant Electrics had a fault, kept blowing the Towbar socket fuse. Hope this is now o/k for our trips starting on Monday 25 June ? You are like the Scarlet Pimpernel , they seek here they seek him there, but nobody can find that elusive Pimpernel ? Keep up the good videos travelling.
I do get a bit of hayfever when the grass pollen us high. I alsostruggle knowing what day I'm on too. Today is Thursday 21st June. I did this video yesterday on Wednesday when we arrived, and another short one from yesterday, to be released tonight. Perhaps I'll have to start saying what day it is on the video. No video from today, next ine will be when we are with Herman the Hymer tomorrow Friday 22nd June.
Now come on Bob your only a spring chicken got years left on you yet .😊😊 on that note please can I ask your view on the medical for driving 3500 ton lots of our choices of M/vans are above this limit thank you and Jenny for all the effort you put into your videos
We probably should have a regular check up for all drivers. I am thinking about doing a video on your options when you reach 70 but I need to do some research though, as I am only 62! The problem with many vans below 3500kg is lack of payload.
Hello Bob If you are staying in the new Forrest A nice pub for Dinner ,The New Forrest Inn just out side of Lyndhurst SO43 7DY If you like Ships visit Calshot The Liners go past there about 5 O’clock The view from there looking down the Solent ( Take your binoculars ) Check Google to get the information when the liners are leaving Southampton The Cafe there isn’t bad either Kind regards Gevin re my Knaus Starclass Banbury
Hi bob still following u on your travels nice site looks after well is your awning air beam nice to c u using it how long do u stop on camp site for do u used much fuel a week while travelling to different site .kev
Kev Andrews Thanks for your questions. We use the blow up awning if we stay 2 or 3 days, if it's not rainy or windy. On this tour we've been staying as long as 6 days on site. The motorhome does 26 miles per gallon, and we've done 717 miles so far on this tour staying at 6 sites. By my calulations that's 125.2 litres of diesel or about £164 worth.
I think that's quite good consider it's a big motor home plus towing car as well I'd thought it would have been more can I ask been you've been to six site so do u pop home in between or just go site to site .kev
Kev Andrews We do go home this time of year about one out of every four weeks. On a tour we go from site to site. We just went home once this tour to pick up the car. Plus, we don't always take the car with us on toyrs.
Thanks, I don't think we used the dog area as we walked in the New Forest, but there is a large field behi d the play area and a couple of smaller dog areas. We're going back this June, so hopefully will do a better review!
Enjoy the new forest we love it. It's one of our favourites xx
This is one of our target campsites. Thanks for the preview.

Great video you two. Looks to be a big site with good facilities. Enjoy your time ;))

Oh I hope we waved back! Don't always see people waving on the other carriageway or motorway. 👋
ha, I read on Facebook page "Motorhome Madness" that waving was a thing! It's just nice seeing vans on the road
Matthew Pearce It's unwritten motorhome law :-)
