Looks like an interesting build. The Emily flying boat is a nice bonus. I may be wrong but I think the correct term for those "stablilsers" is bilge keels whose function is to reduce rolling. I hope this becomes a video build.
It's shame you don't have the Tamiya version as well, which is a late war Operation Ten-Go version. If I recall correctly the project was a Hasegawa/Tamiya joint design. I have built the Tamiya version from the box.
