  • I put together a similar setup for testing my early DIY nozzles. Since then I adapted it to clean media out of stubborn areas in my cabinets, and to clean silt out of my filter boxes.
You can see the nozzle build in this video:

Nice little option there to make things easier. I think you mentioned in one of your vids about maybe sorting out the biggest issue a lot of us have and that's achieving a good CFM on a budget. Looking forward to anything related to this subject.

I may be doing something later in the year. I think they are called duplex units but its hard to get a decent air supply on single phase.

Loving your content and dedication keep it up! Could you explain your media agitation system with the harbour freight blaster and bucket method. I'm struggling to get my media to agitate correct. Thanks and again keep it up

Does this work well on dry/dusty bits like sawdust or steel chips/dust? I feel like it helps to have the inlet point submerged in a fluid to create full pressurization, as opposed to dry trash where air can pass through the inlet.

Yes, this works well on dry material. In fact, short of any real experimentation - it seems to work better on lighter/dryer material. I believe this is because for this particular setup, flow is more important than pressure.

@@ArmouryEnterprises Excellent. I used to pull 400gal tanks around a plant to extract various fluids from machines. I think the pumps worked basically like this on a larger scale. One of them was broken and would blast fluid straight up into the air if the tank filled while it was still running. Much fun.
