The nubian ibex (Capra nubiana) is a desert-dwelling goat that gives birth to young atop tall windswept mesas. The mesa's steep cliff faces offer protection from predators. When the offspring are a few days old they must scale these cliff faces to reach food in the valleys below.

My palms were getting sweaty just by watching this baby goats make their way down, and silently praying that they don’t fall off. 🙏🏼 good for them. Such amazing creatures.

Wow! I've never seen anything like 👍 that. That's incredible how those Ibex maneuver themselves down that rocky, steep terrain. And I'm amazed by the babies who had never traveled over those rocks before. This video made my day. It was like a wonder, intriguing and captivating. Posted Dec. 28 2020 from the USA.

the life and journey of animals can be so astonishing and moving. watching them feels like a movie, that they have a story with experiences steeped in meaning connected to all life within the whole time.
