- Hernando vs Lewisburg Game 1
It was a good run, but Hernando unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lewisburg Patriots. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.
Luke Romine made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-4. Josh Pena was another key contributor, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and a double.
On Lewisburg's side, Matthew Osteen looked comfortable as he tossed an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also didn't allow any walks). Osteen has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive pitching appearances.
At the plate, Lewisburg got a massive performance out of Trae Cagle, who went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and a double. Another player making a difference was Easton Fesmire, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.
Hernando's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-6. As for Lewisburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which somehow isn't as good as their 19-6 record this season.
While Hernando had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

Sup bro big fan of y’all. Content
Luke went crazy
What happened to the ump hope he’s well
I was working 3rd base in this game with Mr. Denton. He got tangled up with catcher and fell and hit the back of his head on the ground. Has a concussion and a sore neck.
Hope he's back to 100% and umping again soon.
