Two corrections here :
1) Architecture branch at IIT does not relates anyway to the jee paper 2. They are enrolled through (AAT) Architecture Aptitude Test... just after qualifying jee advanced and its results declaration.
2) Students pay 1 lakh per semester as tuition fees and not per year. 👍

I am a sophomore currently pursuing B.Arch. from IIT Kharagpur, I just wanted to correct the fact that:
➤ In order to get a seat for Architecture, you need to clear JEE paper 1 and then JEE Advanced and then Architecture and Aptitude Test (AAT).
➤ JEE mains paper 2 is not at all related to the B.Arch. courses offered by all of the IITs (just 3, Kharagpur, Roorkee and BHU)

Edit: Also I would like to add that please don't watch Alma Matters on Netflix because it will just discourage you about engineering. It only shows the lives of below-average or average students. It doesn't show the lives of students who are actually enjoying the courses they are admitted to. So don't base your views by watching just one aspect of one of the most eminent institutions of the country. All the best to all!

FOR MSC PHYSICS, PLEASE REVIEW
1) Jadavpur University
2) IIEST Shibpur, WB (which has received the status of NIT)
3) IIT Dhanbad
4) Presidency University, Kolkata
5) NIT Jamshedpur
JU will be better than other colleges you mentioned, Presidency college too has link with Cambridge Trinity so both are good option, I would say for theoretical or mathematical physics Presidency will be better, but for applied physics JU is best.
So that's how dreams sound like.

Admission to B Arch(Architecture) in IITs is NOT through JEE mains paper-2 (as mentioned at 5:30), we have to first clear JEE- advanced and then AAT paper to get admission in any IIT for architecture branch. JEE mains paper-2 is only for admission in NITs, SPAs and other institutions. Please verify the information before posting. Great video otherwise.

I’m a Kgpian but I don’t think that any student would tell this that it has the worst administration amongst alll IITs. The requests and complaints are unheard here and there is no proper communication between the students and admin. The director sends any information through his Facebook post instead of an official mail. The admin always try to run away from responsibilities. No doubt it has a really great culture but nobody is gonna tell you that it is considered as the depressed IIT amongst all.
