Whoever needs to hear this - Buy actual btc and take self custody. Do not buy the ETF. Satoshi created btc to escape the banking system, not get more entrenched in it.
The ETF is more for institutions to get exposure to Bitcoin than retail investors, but even then I would just say to do what you are comfortable with. As people play around with the technology and it gets more and more user friendly, people will self custody more. Additionally, people who weren't even Bitcoiners, lost trust in the banking system last year and caused collapses of major banks. It's really easy to see a future where people are more comfortable with self custody than with trusting institutions.
Inevitably... just think about after the Bitcoin ETF and after the Bitcoin Halving when everything has already been pumping for a while and then the Cardano DECENTRALIZATION HARD FORK introduces consensus mechanism !! DURING the BULL RUN ! ADA will go absolutely PARABOLIC creating new ALL TIME HIGHS! Again and again. DCA ADA.
Tired of people using daily buying as a way to talk about DCA. People get paid weekly, bi weekly, or monthly. This is more accurate timeframe to look at.
If all the financial advisors were being honest with their advice, they would tell their customers to invest directly in Bitcoin via an exchange like Kraken. Tell them to take the Bitcoin of the exchange and store on a wallet. The spot ETS's are going to allow Bitcoin to be levered and in the long term will destroy the value of Bitcoin. Customers need to be given honest advice to invest directly. This is why Bitcoin is there for financial independence NOT to be DESTROYED by financial advisors.
I wonder what makes Cathie think Elon is playing dumb regarding Bitcoin. He has said nothing that shows me he has spent any amount of time thinking deeply about it. Hope shes right

Preston is just a talking head who for span of years from 2013 to 2019 was telling audience on the show "We study billionaires" that the economy was due for a massive correction. Those that listened to his show missed out on a tremendous exponential growth in investment earning during those years. And now he is on the Bitcoin band wagon. I don't remember him even acknowledged the existence of Bitcoin in the past. It's absolutely idiotic to even have this guy on the panel, and this is the reason why you don't hear him being able to contribute any meaningful/fundamental understanding of bitcoin and blockchain technology.
Couln't agree more. I got bored by all the unnecessary "uh' uh, uhs" slowing down their speech. The guy in the check shirt & the young woman were the only two who didn't keep pausing to think what & how to say anything. Guess who of them I'd trust to invest my money?
