My pain point as a project manager in an interior design business is the "construction phase". It varies so much depending on which company/trade you hire (like one electrician costs so much more than another) or the types of problems that come up in a typical renovation.
When a client gives an overall budget... they really do mean overall... but often the design fees take up a LOT of that number.
Is this just a matter of educating clients on how much money things actually cost? Is there a framework for rough numbers for things like electrical/plumbing? I think sometimes that part just really freaks clients out. They pay us for our services, and then they realize they have to fork over another $15k to pay the tradespeople.
As the PM that's totally on me to figure out... I'm just not sure how!
I feel like i learned more practical information in this video than in my entire formal design education 😂

I work with photorealistics renderings of interior design, and I'm freaking out about how to manage the processes of building a 3D scene. I'm working in a company that have 6 projects to create and I'm very concerned about the deadlines. So here I am watching this amazing video about management 😍 🙌

I’m a newbie & created my Interior styling firm last year and this got me on track‼️ From presentation to back office with Asana, etc. The time you take to explain everything was much appreciated.
