Bridgette looks and has the same mannerisms of a somali girl I knew. It’s mind boggling how much they resemble one another from the smile to all the way down to the hand gesturing when talking.
@@blochspin there’s no such thing as “Horn African” tribes because the Horn of Africa is strictly a geographical and geo-political designation, not an ethnic one. There were no colonial borders in Africa until a few hundred years ago. Also, Historically, there were ancient Southern Cushitic tribes who lived in the Great Lakes, specifically Kenya, Tanzania and northeast Uganda (Ateker/Kalenjin in north uganda were originally Cushites), but then when Bantus migrated, most of these South Cushitic groups got assimilated, and it seems they have been forgotten about in Great Lakes history. However, these South Cushites have greatly influenced many Bantu groups linguistically, culturally and genetically. Kikuyu, Kamba, Meru, Taita, Abagussii, Sukuma, Chagga, Pare, Rangi, Turu, and even Nilotic groups like Samburu, Turkana, Kalenjin, Maaasai and Datooga, have all assimilated ancient South Cushites into their tribes, and as a result, had a good amount of Cushitic ancestry. The Iraqw is the last remnant of the southern Cushites who haven’t been assimilated. However, the Tutsi and Hima are more recent migrants of South Cushites, but they were NOT the first migrations of South Cushites into Great Lakes. There were other groups, similar to Iraqw (like Kw’adza or Asa) who were older Southern Cushites and were native to the region for thousands of years, before getting assimilated.
I like that you are posting a good side of African and of our African people so I subscribe to your channel. Our continent needs people who spread a good image of Africa.
Yes MaShallah Tabarakallah { Smart, Discipline And Intelligent Uganda People }, And that's why As a Somalian i have Married from them😊, And i Appreciate them MaShallah Alhamdullah. And it Requires a Vision Person to know them well, And Once when Both Person from Uganda and Somalia have the "Same Mindset Or Chemistry", that's the time they will be best friend Or get engagement Or get Married. And { Allah knows the best of course }.
Harriet you are doing very good, bridging between our community, and Bridgett is a beautiful girl and whoever gets her is one lucky dude. you got a one more subscriber to your channel. keep up the good work, from a Somali from USA.
It will also be an interesting conversation to have Somalia men themselves to voice out their respective opinions about marrying ladies out of their religion.😄
@@MrMatujames they don’t really marry out and they tend to marry East African men only and somewhat European men there is a thing nowadays amongst African women when they don’t marry their own men from their region they tend to marry European men As for Somali men they tend to marry either African women either East African women from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda/Burundi, South Sudan and Zambian women these are the nations that Somali men marry women from and they tend to also marry a lot of Arab/Middle Eastern women as well as European and Indian women but Somali men like to marry East African women and Middle Eastern women ( Arab women/North African women )
@@Mo77217As a Somali myself I'm not eager to marry none Somali women and it's not common 95% of Somali men to do otherwise but, maybe our ladies do these days!
Thank you for showing a positive side and the truth between Somalis and Ugandans. We noticed people who come on Social Media to divide and create hateful narratives between east africans when we are actually respectful and welcoming to eachother. History actually shows that Somalia use to have Uganda's back during Idi Amin ruling and Uganda has returned the favor by sending their soldiers under Yoweri Museveni in the rebuilding of Somalia's government. We Somalis appreciate Uganda and our future generations will learn the history between the two nations in the History books. I have never visited Uganda but 1 day I will come visit as well and break breed with the locals.
From somalia. You are very kind , very respectful, all ugandies girls Yeh we are very shyful, means we don't like to talk every one , instead we are united .

From somalia currently living in Australia ee love Uganda peopl and their girls so beautiful and we love our sister hatriet hopefully u visit us in somalia any time and if you ever visit Australia let me know
By origin I'm a somali but I'm an east african a driver i travelled in Uganda and i always felt I'm at home more than all the east Africa really ugandans are nice and welcoming although east Africa in general wherever you go they'll always make feel at home and I'm proud of you ugandans and what you're doing for my people will be writing in history and insha'allah one day we'll return the favor not only for Uganda but who ever helped our people during the last decades that somalia had unstable situations thank you.
Content creators have learned that somalis are agreesive social media followers, that's why many make videos about them. Anyways, I have had the chance to interact with somalis at University; they're cultural, community, religious, trustworthy, genuine, honest and brilliant in understanding and academics. Keep going!
Absolutely on point! It’s really annoying to focus on Somalis like they’re aliens from another planet. Never seen a content creator talk about Baganda, Kikuyus, Indians, Jews, Germans, Yoruba, Amhara, etc Focusing on one community is exposing them to xenophobic propaganda which is actually happening in South Africa, Kenya and Uganda resulting in injuries and deaths. I blame the Somalis for being addicted to social media and encouraging these merchants of malice to profit from your viewership.
