Thanks for getting that patch note out. I only just restarted the game after seeing that puppets and vehicles were readjusted.
Guess I will have to restart my compound again. LOL
I finally got my base back to the north side of the B2 airport and south of the town there. There's a lot of good places all over the map to build. That just feels like home to me. Now to build the cursed garden and a wall around the base. I may build an improvised flamethrower just to see if it'll take out the weeds in the garden. Considering how fast the sword deteriorates I'm surprised you didn't take an extra one. A C5? Yeah, I recently got one of those. Took me right back to my starter clothes.

The Devs have made a great add-on with the small luggage idea I've always thought a set of through oven sadel bags would be great.

the infinite horde is mostly fixed. however theres still this issue where zombie spawn at the place you cleared 5 minutes ago
On single player, in settings, you should be able to adjust length of time for puppet respawns.
I'm glad that they have reintroduced the boats, rafts etc. I bet they haven't fixed the water physics where your boat sinks for no reason though.
There was a hotfix a few hours after the patch which has fixed the city bike issue.
P.S. I tried your server but the whole map was PVP. Usually when there's a wipe, you make the map PVE for the first few days. Any comments please?
You're a bit behind Blanny, I said that when this patch popped into existence, the server would have no zones, besides the no build around the traders. "Any Comments please?" This isn't a news room lmao

Mr Feudal redoing my base they nerfed the trick of putting the double door frame down then the half wall it doesn't work now😢
I used the twig support and the short wall before the update. Just started building a small base and haven't really tried to see if it still works.
Feudal how do u set ur items like u do where the uses only show when ur mouse hovers on it

@@tsp6467 OH - I'll need to get back home to get you that, I can't remember off the top of my head what it was - I know the setting I just cant remember its name. It should be in the GAME side of the settings.

The puppet spawn system still sucks.
I want the old system back, where you could see and snipe puppets from hundreds of meters.
Nobody asked for the new system and the majority don't like it either.
If they don't completely backtrack with the new system, the game will die.
The system still sucks? Why? Because you don't like it?
You want an old system that was easily readable, therefore this is not a game issue.

@@MrFeudal The puppets still spawn directly in front of you and behind you, especially in bunkers.
You can no longer clear high thread areas with the current spawn system, which makes it impossible to get into such areas in hardcore servers, by which I mean real oneshot hardcore servers.
By a large portion I mean the thousands of people who have stopped playing and are actively complaining about it, you want to prove? Read through the forums, you can't trust the Steam player numbers because most of the players are on Chinese P2W servers, you don't believe me? look at the official server player numbers, the EU servers are almost dead.
And yes, the game will die if the devs don't make drastic changes, not because I don't like it, but because that's human nature.
Sure, the number of players is increasing a bit again, but that's normal with a fresh patch, the numbers will quickly fall again.
and no, I'm not a SCUM hater, on the contrary, I love the game or loved it, I've been playing it since the game even existed.
But I'm not a SCUM fanboy either and just ignore the fact that the game currently has massive problems and these need to be fixed.
It's nice for you that you like the game in this state, but it doesn't do it for me, I wanted a realistic, immersive survival game and that's not it anymore at the moment.
Yes they spawn infront of you, it's still better than spawning AROUND You which is what it used to be when the Horde system arrived. Bunkers being cleared has been an issue from what I've already played, so unless you are playing on a server where the settings aren't Default or at least bespoke, then yeah you're gonna have an issue, but that's not the game, that's human error. If I can do it by myself, you can too

What about the thousands who just playing the game and avoiding all the players who are constantly moaning about what devs should do?
I don't spend my time browsing over Battlemetrics, Im too busy enjoying my time on SCUM, if you want to do that, fine feel free to do, if you need that to justify your point then fine. However I still see active servers, I still see survival PVP servers full and I still witness players enjoying the game.
The game won't die, to say otherwise is silly because it's only getting better and you fail to see that or at least try and adapt because you've openly admitted that you don't like this version you would rather "go back to the old ways"
I'm a fan of the game but Im also capable of seeing its issues, however I understand its a work in progress, I know there's problems but I can't do anything other than report those problems to the Devs and then its down to them. This is in no way a slate against you, I'm not trying to look down on players like you, because I know you like the game, but I feel like the whole Doom and Despair attitude doesn't really work in this case. The game at the moment has never been better in my opinion, I know that'll be seen as me Shilling but I haven't enjoyed some updates, some hotfixes etc This version works for me and many others. I just wish players like yourself wouldn't fall into the whole "Games dying" crowd because you know it's not, it's just an easy way to pick up a reaction.
@@MrFeudal I understand you love the game. I understand you want the game to succeed. I do also. I don't know about other servers. I do know the server I'm on looks like there's only been 1 other player even playing since the update. I used to see bases around periodically. Even before the update the bases I used to see actually disappeared. I thought the numbers would come back up after the update. Doesn't look like it so far. Hope things change. I don't want the owner of the server to shut it down because no one plays on it. I've been on it for around a year and a half and don't want to go through the process of finding another one.
