I boiled mines in Aussie mega moist with ten drops of almond oil. Looks new! I folded it up and twisted it into a chunky twist to hold the pattern until I reuse it!(pro tip)
Y’all boil y’all hair and add shampoo to the pot . When deep conditioning add conditioner to the hair and put the hair into a plastic bag/ ziplock bag and put it the microwave for 3 mins . Your hair will come back instantly
Rebecca Woyar I did this but I left it for like a minute & half (was scared something was gone happen😭😭😭) do u rinse it out hot or wait til it cool down
Lashawn Sinclair lmao naw it’s human / virgin hair so it’s not gonna burn and shake the bag when it comes out the microwave. Then cool it down with cold water it works 😂
Loved this ... I plan on re-installing my weave and this video was very informative and useful im definitely trying this before my hair gets re-installed
Hey! I have a question. I recently got a sewin. The person that installed it also dyed my bundles and closure this gorgeous color. But I noticed that the hair isn’t as soft as it was before dying and it tends to get matted on occasion and I constantly have to keep a brush on hand...will this technique help revive it even just a little bit where it’s softer and easier to deal with? I really don’t want to have to take this out early 😩
Deep condition your entire head when its wash day. Even your leave out or if you have a frontal/closure. Put a plastic bag around your head to seal in the moisture. The time frame is however long you think you need. I hope this helps!
I tried this, thanks for the tutorial although because my weave was some loser aliexpress hair, it remained to look good until time for installation now it's a matted mess again😣... in my head.
Try deep conditioning it while it's installed. Depending on the conditioner, it sometimes might not last for a while. Try Aussie Mega Moist, if you can. When you deep condition it, leave it in for 2 hours, then rinse it and dry it with a old cotton shirt you don't use, cause towel drying it can cause it to tangle sometimes (not saying u used a towel, js)
Hi :-) I have some red bundles that I just took out because I Had it in since July and I wanted to know will this method work on my hair, and will it take the color out... The hair was becoming to tangled and shedding a little so I wanted to know will this method help with that and also protect my color ?
How did your hair not reshape and straighten when you brushed through your hair after putting it in boiling water?? Because I did this method to straighten a curly wig today, and it absolutely worked, it is super straight. If you don't want your hair to lose it's shape, you may wanna opt for the fabric softener method that you would use cool water for instead
It’s Lex Of Course ...I feel dumb 😅 I thought people only boiled synthetic is why I assumed, I've never seen anyone do it on human! I just can't believe it doesn't ruin it, I've gotten human hair from sally's (100% human guarantee and reasonably priced, decent quality) and warm water seemed to damage it 😬 so I guess I just always thought you should only use cool to room temp on human 😅 thanks for clearing it up, I may try this on some old human extensions I have that I've been procrastinating on throwing away 😂👍
Yeah it probably will, because I did this a couple of days ago on my red hair and I had a rinse on top of permanent dye, and my rinse basically came out. If you used Adore it might not come all the way out though.

What if you already have the hair sewed in..? How can you fix it until you take it out?

Tabby Lynn the hair you used was synthetic her hair was human hair

Omg thank you so much I lost hope in my old bundles lol
The shampoo in the hot water??
nah I didn't use any shampoo, only conditioner. the water is always clear/fresh until I put the hair in
shampoo can dry out your bundles, even if it says moisture on it
Okay so my bundles are colored blue but it's a rinse. Do you think that this method will take the color away?
Yeah it probably will, because I did this a couple of days ago on my red hair and I had a rinse on top of permanent dye, and my rinse basically came out. If you used Adore it might not come all the way out though.
Ciera T. Lowe yea I used adore do you think I will have to bleach it again to get the color back
Nahhh lol you might have to rinse that dye on it again though. That's it
