I'm only a few years behind you. I honestly think we who were born in the 70s and early 80s had the best era for toys and games. Just old enough in the late 70s or early 80s to appreciate the new waves of action figures that came in the aftermath of Star Wars toys and all the cartoons that came with them. He-Man, Action Force, Terrahawks, Ghostbusters Transfirmers, MASK etc. We also were just the right age for the video game evolution, from Atari and ganes arcades through to Sega, Nintendo then the launch of the next gen consoles. The introduction of home videos, cassette tapes, CDs, and a million brilliant TV shows/movies and their accompanying theme music! It was the best era to be around.

Happy 50th! The Dollarama stores here in Canada had a pile of He-man origins figures. I picked up a couple as the weapons fit my older vintage figures for displaying. The store was selling the figures for $5 CDN, so they were cheap repro accessories.
