just discovered your videos and have thoroughly enjoyed watching you tracing some of my favorite back- and bike-packs through the Sods, Appy Trail, and C and O Canal. I must say that the two of you have the best attitudes: never complaining, always enjoying, and willing to stop, notice, and learn while you're in nature. Thanks for sharing.
I know it was posted 9 months ago, but I just saw your video and thought it was very well done. The pink stuff on the rocks is natural- it is lichen which comes in a variety of colors but I seldom see it in pink. Thanks for sharing!
Me and the wife also did the Bear Rocks trail are first time this weekend. Saw your vid and noticed that you were just there , we did twelve miles but walked to where you could see the valley and saw smoke stacks to the right of us miles away and turned back my hams are hurting today lol. Saw Blackwater Falls today and headed home to Hancock County WV. You did a great job filming , see ya on the trail
Pretty sure our route was Bear Rocks to Raven's Ridge, then Rocky Ridge to Harman Trail, camped somewhere in there. Then Upper Red Creek to Dobbins Grade to Beaver View to complete the loop. I hope you have a blast! It's gorgeous there.

Great nature shots! Thanks for the video. Heading back to the Sods in two weeks and hoping for better weather this year. ;)

Liked your video. Subscribed to your channel. We also backpack with our dog. Maybe check out our channel.
Was that a pet tarantula? What was that?!
No, that was just a little tiny jumping spider that was hitching a ride on the dog's backpack :)
