    How do I get the Female Connecting Buckles for the CL-1060-R Lite in CANADA? Your website does not give the option for Canada delivery that I can see.

      These are only sold here in the USA as they are not carried by our Canadian importer. If you reach out to customer service, they might be able to help you out with this one. info@NelsoRigg.com www.nelsonrigg.com/support/accessories/sport-touring/cl-1060-qrfs-detail

    This was very helpful thank you. The instructions that came with the bag were confusing and poorly worded.

      Fantastic news! That is what the videos are for...so you can See what needs to be done. Sometimes written words just don't get the point across. Thank you for your support.

    Can you provide a video or detailed explaination on how exactly to use the one strap two buckle option (last one suggested in video)? I feel that is a big misstep not showing a step by step on that one. I believe for my narrow pillion seat this could be the ideal option with the least amount of material. There needs to be close ups of each end and the assembly for this method.

      Yes Sir. I will make that one for you. I talk about it at the 9:16 to 9:50 part of this video. I literally remove a male clip from another strap and attached it to the opposite side of a single strap. I'll create a short video just for that as per your request. Thanks for watching.

      Much appreciated! I know it should be pretty straightforward but the way the strap is stitched over at the ends not sure how you’d remove the buckle without damaging either. I’m sure I’m missing something obvious but that’s why I’m asking.

      There are two ways to go about it... The first take a little pressure and patience. The folded web strap can be fed through the buckle. It is not easy, but can be done. The second... cut the fold off the end and burn it with a lighter. Now it will be EASY and you can choose how much "extra strap" you want to work with. Thanks for your support.

    Hi, would the commuter sport hold a laptop 12.75X9 inches? Thanks

    • @Nelsonriggusa
      @Nelsonriggusa  2 місяці тому

      Thank you for your inquiry. The commuter sport is 13” L x 11” W x 9.5” H when expanded and I have tested your dimensions... NOPE. No Go. It does fit well in the Touring tail bag though. On it's side, corner to corner.

    Does either of these bags accommodate a 14 inch macbook? Thank you.

    • @Nelsonriggusa
      @Nelsonriggusa  28 днів тому +1

      The Touring version CL-1060-ST2 accommodates up to an 18" Laptop if turned on its side. I personally run a MacBook Pro 14" in a case and I set it on its side inside the bag. with the bag not expanded it fits... but is tight. If I let out the expansion, there is room to spare. On it's side and diagonal is the proper insertion of a computer into the CL-1060-ST2

    Would you trust this with a laptop? Will it strap down well to a top rack?

      I have the midsized one and although my laptop does stick out, as long as I'm not hard accelerating, I've had no problems.

      We run a MacBook Pro in the CL-1060-ST2 Touring tail bag. We open tne expansion and the laptop set on its side vertically from corner to corner. It is a perfect fit and we can pack other items around it. Maybe we will shoot a short video showcasing this... Thanks for the suggestion.

    Clips won't come off due to the stiching of the straps

    • @Nelsonriggusa
      @Nelsonriggusa  2 місяці тому

      Thanks for watching! Clips should not need to come off... but if you do need them to come off, you can cut the tri-fold and sear the end with a lighter. What is the situation you are running into?

      @@Nelsonriggusa Interesting to know as I have considered buying a donor passenger seat and bolting the bag to it with large washers either side, simply to make the bag harder to steal and the ultimate way of knowing the bag wont come loose mid ride. That said I doubt I ever would go through with it as the bag seems to hold on quiet well.

    • @Nelsonriggusa

      @@nowhere529 We have had several customers bolt their bags down. The straps work great, but the security of hard mounted is a whole different level.
