gabriellepastel I do backstotch if I’m making them for someone else but on my own I generally don’t bother. I have a tendency to stitch past and over my starting point so it’s not a big deal.
Ishi Nya they are tug proof to an extent depending how you are tiring it, if you want to add extra strength to it you can add a strip of polypropylene webbing between the riffled layer and the back satin layer.
@@ToxikFoxoxo hey I love this collar but where did you bought that ribbon? I'm struggling to find some ribbons who are not too expensive but Also not too cheap :(
white angel I work in a fabric store so that is where I get all my ribbon, it’s not too expensive if you are just buying what you need instead of full spools.
Honestly one of the most therapeutic and helpful videos of 2019
I love the technique you used! Very easy to follow and I can tell you're great with the sewing machine too! I can't wait to try it your way.
Loved this but is there are a chance you can show us to do it by hand.

What kind of sewing needle are you using for the sewing machine?
love this!!! 💜🖤💜🖤
I can use a old piece of cardboard cut to the size u want to make sure your folds are even🍼🍼🐻
I don’t understand
How long are the pieces I cut a 20 inche piece and once I made the ruffles it just was useless
Read the design properly, you need a 20" piece for the ribbon to tie it.... the piece for the ruffles is 34" and the piece behind it is 14"
What kind of sewing machine is this and can I get it from michaels?
Does anyone know how to wash/clean your collar?
do you not backstitch on purpose?
