Stalker is the basis for gaining experience for Dungeon. You farm with stalker + blood fury and in battles against archers and casters remove blood fury from the battlefield. Thus killing them with stalkers and magic. This is a tier S unit that, together with bloody fury provides you an opportunity to gain experience with almost no losses until the late game.
@@dmytro.v.dontsov but the unit itself is not good, only viable in the early game and has little to no effect in big fights otherwise. Def nowhere near S tier.
disregarding early game stalker has 15 hitpoints and have similar stats to many tier 3 units in this game with same pop. They arent numerous but hit with okay-ish strength. On top of that this poison effect is handy especially against stronger heroes than your main and they have more movement points on battlefield than most of the units in this game, have fairly high (12) initiative. They arent that bad even later on. They are useable with raiders' bite ability, stacks with elemental chaining (so they benefit from hero strength similarly to orcean bloodlust). At last they have Vayshan hero which specialises with them and starts with a bunch of scouts - which are much more numerous than regular tier 3 specialty heroes. I think just because they give your dungeon this safe of an early game they deserve at least an A tier if not S tier.
All jokes asides - you put upgraded versions of peasants on A tier, whilst regular peasants is C tier and they arent that much of different units. And stalker is weaker than them, really? Double strike from Brutes is bad. Bash ability from Conscript is better but still suffers low initiative. I'd personally rather have full population of Stalkers than of both of them.
@@jakubmalinowski1474 man they are just gonna go invisible and get one good hit off and then get destroyed. The only argument for them is the early game hero casting strat and that’s it
@@MutantBray While I agree... That one hit is gonna one shot anything up to tier 3. Stalker is overpowered for a tier 1 unit. That's been a debate for a long while now. They DESTROY any high-movement squish units that charge forward. If you consider Stalkers as main-line units, they do suck ofcourse, but they are essentially an Assassination unit, true to their name. Their stats are better than most tier 2 units.

Jokes aside i just realised that regular goblin is on D tier. however there is a bug that allows you to win every battle if only your knight (yes, knight) has guardian angel and (to optimize) last stand on top of having at least 4 goblins (only) in his army. If you attack anything that oneshots your goblins, they will betray you with amount of 1 goblin on stack. This works only when your goblins suffers hits that kills over 70% of the amount of them since the start of the battle. After an attack you lose control of the unit and the game bugs out. Your hero doesn't have any army left, but the battle isn't finished since guardian angel script wants to activate, but on what? At this point you are attacking with your hero everything on the battlefield till all of the enemy units are dead. Guardian angel can't activate on enemy goblins anymore, because those are on enemy side.
Note 1: enemy hero as an AI will never surrender since AI value of your army is ZERO.
Note 2: your hero can't have any war machines at the start of the battle (meaning, this bug doesn't work on sieges).
Note 3: After winning the battle, your hero don't have any units and automatically wins every next battle on autocombat without casualties (because you can't lose anything). You only can't fight them manually.
This bug is so broken, you cannot use it in competitive matchups (its banned and fixed depending on game version or map - including heroes 5 arena).

Skelly warriors are really strong. Bash ability, Shield allies, 25% magic proof and 6 defense with 5 movement/10 initiative tier 1 unit is really a lot. Necro juice on top of that stacks well with them early on. At least before getting first vampires they are sufficient to win battles by themselves. They dont deal that much damage, but also they guarantee youre not losing that many units early on. With low SP raise dead you are pretty much always able to raise all of them with one cast. They are definitely better early on than skelly archers.

How in the world Conscript and Brute are in the same tier as Sprite, Skeleton Warrior or Shieldguard? Skeleton Warrior and Shieldguard halve enemy ranged damage to their allies and have high defense, making them great at soaking damage in general. Shieldguard is insane defensively (in the late game he's S+ unit), Skeleton Warrior doesn't have a shield wall to shrug off any attack, but is much better offensively. Sprite is very fast with high initiative which lets you kite slow neutral stacks and offensively she's a terror if left unchecked. Meanwhile, Conscript and Brute get 3 hp, no movement, no initiative, 1 more defense/attack and max damage and rng based ability - they're barely better than Peasant, let alone two tiers better. Before TotE they didn't even have taxpayer, so there was no reason to ever upgrade them.

@@MutantBray In that case, Peasant should be A tier too. Putting him in C assumes that this is the baseline for taxpayer. In any case, Conscript and Brute have no right to be any higher tier than Peasant.
@@Xertaron. I mean they also have fighting abilities such as a stun and stuff. Overall tier 1 units are a little difficult
@@MutantBray Bash and Assault are ok abilities on terrible units. Those abilities would have to be god tier to warrant such a jump.
@@Xertaron. decent abilities and gold to spike your whole team, aside from that it’s a terrible unit. B tier at worst (for the upgrades)

@@artward556 I gotcha. I do my best to not be very opinionated when making any of my tier lists. In a lot of them I will talk about not liking something but putting it high because even though I don’t like it for whatever reason that doesn’t mean it isn’t good.
i dont think thta upgraded pesants have taxpayer ability.

In the base game and Hammers of Fate they don't, but in Tribes of the East they do.
