Faye Webster - Suite: Jonny (Brooklyn Steel, NY 10/25/23)

Faye Webster played two sold-out shows at Brooklyn Steel this week, with this one ending the run. It was great seeing Faye rising to the success that she clearly deserves. I've seen Faye numerous times over the years and this was the biggest show yet!
I feel like it's been a while since I've been to Brooklyn Steel, but they were doing the stupid Quick Pass again for an additional $15. What a scam! But at least it worked out and I was able to get barricade with my friends Carlo and Victor. The show seemed more packed than usual, with fans pushing up crowding me in to the front. Nothing like getting crushed at a festival but more packed than it really should have been. Even before Faye went on, a few people in the crowd had some medical emergencies but ended up ok. Luckily Faye's show mostly went off without a hitch. There was a weird rock placed in front of her keyboard which obscured part of the stage but it worked out how we were right in front of here when she played her songs there.

I love that the crowd was loving this, but my gosh they kinda ruined the performance. I want to hear Faye, not off-key singers in the audience. Lol

Yeah it happens at a lot of shows. It's not that bad here as other shows I've followed. It's pretty bad at Mitski and Boygenius shows
