Does anybody else feel like doing lots of flowers all the sudden? I love Mums’s makery.
They have a lot of really good templates especially the flowers 💐 x
I bought these templates from Sam about a year ago but only decided to make them today. I really struggled putting the outer petals on and I just couldn’t get the right look. I felt so deflated because they’re so pretty and really wanted to make them properly.
I eventually managed by using the templates and going around the outside with a pencil on wool felt. It worked a treat and turned out so well. I managed to felt the leaves and insert some green wire that I already had, then felted everything together.
I find felting small things really fiddly, you and Sam make it look easy.

Oh I agree, small things are really hard. I did love these and have since sold them but this time of year I get tempted to make some more, using felt seems much easier! Great idea, thanks so much xx

Aww snowdrops we’re my nana’s favourite spring flowers, them and pansy’s. When she died my mum and aunts dug up the bulbs to plant in their own gardens so they have another wonderful memory of their mother with them, and when my mum passes away I’ve been instructed to do the same as have my cousins to put in our gardens to keep the memories going and my daughter will be instructed to do the same and so on. Luckily we all love our gardens. Sounds a bit morbid but it isn’t really. The snowdrops are well over 90 years old, well from the same bulbs anyway if you know what I mean…they came back every year without fail and still do. I’m rambling on now, sorry about that 😂 I just love my family so much.

They do have tulips, crocuses, hydrangeas and daffs. Oh and a beautiful calla lily and stargazer lilies. Wonder what they'll add next.

@@feltsbyphilippa I’ve been looking for a way to make flowers that doesn’t require wet felting or cutting prefelt so this is the absolute best find.
I've got their templates for the orchid, pansy and daisy. They're brilliant. The tutorials are great. I need to buy snowdrop templates now.
