I think I'm truly done with iOS! 🙅🏽♂️
@@artsiomvlasovets1943 Galaxy watch ultra has best battery life, and is more durable. But the pixel watch 3 XL has much better battery life than the 2. I can go almost 3 days without a charge with my use on the pixel watch. I can go almost 5 days with the ultra. I used to could only go about a day and a half with my pixel watch 2 so the pixel watch 3 XL is great improvement and great battery for a NON ultra smart watch. If I HAD to choose one, it would be the ultra, just based on the longer battery life and durability. But I LOVE how sleek and simple the pixel watch is, so I love being able to switch back and forth.
Just the fact that its round makes it nicer than any square watch. I still use the first Pixel watch or my Garmin S42 golf watch on golf days. My battery lasts all day, and even though I wear it for yard work and mechanical work it has no scratch's. Looking forward to upgrading to the 3 as soon as the first one fails. I have a $400 credit from 2 new phones...So will go with the 45mm.
To be fair, the aluminum Apple Watches are ion-x, scratch very easily but prices are similar if not more than pixel. The stainless steel and ultra watches are with sapphire and much more expensive.
Great content 👌 One feature that would be great: Have the ability to use the watch "upside-down" for those who wear watches on the right hand, vs left, that way the crown can easily be used, it's just software, they should be able to implement that, my phone can change orientation, watch should be able to, then watch would be perfect
I think you can change the watch orientation in the settings in the Pixel Watch app. It's not automatic, but if you don't switch often, it may not be an issue
Jordan ... good video. I watched the video after receiving my Watch - the 45 mm watch. I'm really glad I went with the bigger display. Although I'm pretty good with figuring my way through stuff like this, I'm still looking for a video with tips and tricks on the new watch. FWIW My last smart watch was a Withings Scanwatch. I really liked its battery life (a full month!) and its looks. Unfortunately, some moisture seeped inside (due to bicycling on a hot humid August morning.) Too bad Google (& Apple for that matter) can't have a watch with a battery life that can be measured in weeks!
I'm a user of Pixel Watch 1, and hesitating if I should upgrade to Pixel Watch 3 45mm for two reasons. The first - I have pretty small wrists. The 2nd - today I saw Apple Watch 9 in the store, compared it's screen size, smoothness and UI to my Pixel Watch wearing both on my wrist, and realized that Apple's watch is lightyears ahead in terms of user experience and satisfaction. I love my Pixel 8 phone though, so not sure I'll switch to iPhone. Tough...
I switched to the iPhone for the apple watch when they launched the iPhone 12 mini. That combo was great and is the phone I used the longest. Then I moved back to Pixel Fold + Pixel Watch 1. The new iPhones were not very interesting for me. But I still miss the Apple watch experience. What makes it great is the amount of developer activity, which is still lacking on wear os. Pixel Watch 3 looks and runs much better, but is too expensive.
Google Really does need to improve on the display and increase the screen size by making the !! Bezel size even slimmer !! -- For example if you even if you decreased it by 1 mm or 2 mm you could have a 34 mm or 36 mm screen size on the 41 mm smaller Pixel watch 3 or 40 mm on the larger Pixel watch 3 -- It needs to keep up with others Samsung and Apple which have slim Bezels.
As tempting as the 45mm is, I think I will hang onto my FB Sense 2 one more year and see if a new chipset is introduced next year along with an even smaller bezel on the larger model. I am happy to see though that the battery life on the larger model is pretty decent. I put my watch on the charger every night anyway since I don't wear it for sleep tracking but it's nice to know it can stretch into the 2nd day if I forget to charge it.
I've been wearing the pixel watch 3 for 4 days and my wrist hurts to the point I had to remove it. Previously I had worn the pixel watch 2 for almost 1 year straight with no discomfort.
This has been a big upgrade from the PW2. I notice the screen is dimmer in the dark (LTPO getting used) saving battery. I started with it out the box at 70%. 12 hours later it's at 17% but of course I used it heavy downloading apps and stuff at first, took a nap, now at work and using it somewhat. PW2 would be dead already. Curious if I can make it 8 more hours on my shift without it dying....will see
I don't have any issues with the pixel watch 2. I work out for 2 hrs 4 days a week and my battery is around 20-30%. Plug it during a shower and it's ready to go. I do watch I had a big size. So lucky all new pixel watch 3 xl users
Yeah Fitbit... I went through 3 of them already. Can't get one the last one in 6 months before the screen goes black. So I'm going to try pixel watch 3 and hope that it lasts
I just got my new Pixel Watch 3 45mm yesterday. How do I setup the app launcher as opposed to be using the "list" on the menu? I couldn't figure it out. Thanks in advance.
