Today (Monday 5th February 2024) me & Dan headed to Sandy Point in Hayling island to see what fish were around!
We fished on the neap tide from low to near high before the tide started running too much.
We were hoping for rays, flat fish, conger & some bass from this session.

@FishingwithMattUK yeah I was with my friend as you were leaving, we never ended up fishing. I'm back down next week though so maybe I'll give it a go if the weather permits
@mr_r_soul7068 oh sweet yeah nice one 👊👊 you’ll have to check the tides there as you can only fish the neap tides from low to near high. But as my mate said if you want congers etc then going to the Hayling Ferry area is good but can be snaggy

@mr_r_soul7068 nice 😎 you can reverse your car down the slipway or to the right towards the ferry pontoon and fish off the concrete bit at the top and cast either side 👊👊
Hi matt great video, just a question regarding Sandy point. Have you ever fished it off the sib?? And could you fish it on a high neep tide off a sib as well as a low neep.

Drifting down the channel can produce bass, mackerel, bream & scad during the summer on feathers & baiting up whole mackerel can produce tope as well as big congers. Squid & crab baits can produce good bass & obviously smoothounds too! Im pretty sure any tide you can fish there on a sib but be careful with weather conditions etc. We tied up to channel marker buoys & anchored in those areas when I had the tope!
