You don't mention checking the convergent validity of the formative constructs using redundancy analysis (as mentioned in some books and literature). Is that not needed? I am currently assessing a formative-formative HOC model, but I do not have global single items for a few of my formative constructs. Thus, I am unable to check convergent validity via redundancy analysis. Is this a problem? If it is compulsory, is there any other way to check convergent validity? Thank you in advance!
