I think of moon in 8th attractiveness as more mysterious than charismatic.
Maybe it's both. But yes mystery is a big part
Aqua Moon in the 8th and I absolutely love it!! All of the deep 8th house stuff combined with Aqua's cool, calm, detached, logical self. Really excited to receive my chart. Just ordered today and also looked at my tropical/whole signs for the first time as well. I’ve got sun, moon, Venus, Mercury and Jupiter in 8th house of Aquarius and my 8th house lord is in the 6th, 12th lord in the 8th and 6th lord in 8th. Needless to say I’m not figuring any of this out on my own.

Vedic should be tropical and whole sign. So if the moon is in the 8th sign counted from your rising sign, including the rising sign as "1", then it is in your 8th house in my system.
