Nice to see this review. I grew up with the Megaman Battle Network series and have been curious about the Kotobukiya kits since they announced the Bass.EXE (Forte.EXE) kit.
fantastic, looks like it poped straight out of the anime. definitely hope they release more of these megaman characters. The designs from that series of Megaman were all really fantastic.
Nice, I'm glad to see she builds up well. My order for this kit just came in the other day, and I'm looking forward to painting her with lots of glitter.
I have the (rare) Kotobukiya Mega Man Zero (Z) and tbh, they're somewhat already on the right track with that kit - a solid kit, but unsure why they didn't pursue it further. Now this new kit reminds me of my Koto MMZ(Z) that I've just mentioned but at the same time, their challenge against Figure-Rise Standard I guessed?
Lastly, the lack of Megaman games is inversely proportional to the plamo kits from Kotobukiya, they look amazing, hopefully I want they made Robot Masters or Mavericks bosses and not only Megamen or super popular character like Zero or in this case Roll.EXE.
That is a slick box cover art for this version of Roll from Rockman.Exe. Narratively, her character in the game functions as a heal-chip, in the anime based off the gameboy series she's a AI personal assistant that additionally functions as anti-viral software (which all these AIs do).
I got the Mega Man kit from this line back when it launched, and the only thing I dont like is how many seam lines there is all over the kit. I guess bandai spoiled me since the price point of these is similar to RG/MG, and those rarely have a visible seam line. Other then that, the kit is great though. Looks great, poses solid, accessories are awesome. You dont really see the seam lines unless you look up close.
@@lappappap535 oh. Well, it still looks like something you shouldn't panel line anyways. But if you wanna mark it, just make sure it's either disassembled or top coated first. Enamels can be volatile to Polystyrene if it pools up.
can check out koto mega man x, and zero. but especially mega man x, he have a lot of armor sets made by kotobukiya. as for classic series, koto recently made OG mega man (mm11 ver.) and its quite cool looking kit as it comes with no helmet option (can pose mega man with hair). kotobukiya has been spoiling mega man fans during these period of no new games drought
Megaman Battle Network is basically Megaman meets Pokemon as an all the robots in the series including Megaman himself became literally called "PET" as in digital companions that their respective human partners raised and make them battle each other.

Awesome build, your Roll.EXE model looks super cool! 👏🤖

Nostalgia as a Megaman Battle Network fan I automatically will like this kit

I just got her for 40 bucks I hope she's worth it she's adorable
Roll.EXE is from Megaman battle network... Or Rockman exe
8:11 I'm recommend Mega Man X Rising Flame and X Max Armor [hyperchip]
I've built the old version of the kotobukiya rock man and the new version is so much better, I definitely recommend the more classic looking MegaMans
Be careful with the yellow rings of the emblems, they’re vulnerable and easy cracking, even worse if you apply panel line ink…
are you talking about her head cables? Those don't look like something to panel line.
@@LoliconSamalik no, I mean the yellow edges around the heart emblems, on the chest and ears
