The Flora-Bama is a favorite watering hole on the way to Perdido Key. Just watch out for the speed bump while driving past the entrance unless you enjoy catching some air in your vehicle. LOL

It looks like fun, even though I am beyond the bar scene. We have driven past it a thousand times when we have stayed either in Pensacola Beach or Gulf Shores.
You should have seen how crazy The Wharf (and Amphitheater) was for the Jimmy Buffett concert.

Jack another excellent video. I need to find out how long it would take me to get from Murphy North Carolina to Orange Beach to check it out plus go deep sea fishing for a full day. If I end up doing it I would love if you as Samantha would come along. Just pulled it up on the internet and it's a 7 1/2 hour trip.

I went to the Bama when it was a little liquor store & 2 bar stools! U could drive down Perdido key Blvd & see the gulf all the way to gulf shores, Too much fun!!
That is the site I want to see. RIP to our beautiful area. Corporate greed has taken over. Now we must wait for the most catastrophic hurricane in history to right these wrongs. But it is coming, and it will cleanse like a mighty coffee enema.

All I got say is I wish me and my wife could come over down there and live. We live in the mountains Edinburg va. We are getting tiered of the cold in the winter. I have a brother that lives down there around you some were Carol English do you know of him

Hey Tommy! We used to live in Fort Valley! Still have family in Front Royal. The mountain Valley there is beautiful and I loved living there, but nothing trumps living by a warm beach! We are slated to early retire down there within the year.

Been to the Wharf for two concerts and both times drunk people wanted to fight right near me. I don't understand why you pay money to go watch a concert and get so stupid drunk that you don't even remember it...and/or get kicked out of it. Stupid people are among us...and unfortunately they breed. LOL!
Flora Bama Used to be a good Beach Bar . Its Tourist BS now.

We would love to come down on a family vacation but haven’t got a clue (as far as reliable suggestions) where to go/stay etc. I love spending $$$ in RED states. F__k BLUE states. As an example we go to the Daytona 500 every year and we come from 6 states, merge in Daytona and spend $$$ for a week there. Any suggestions (insider info) would be appreciated.
Unfortunately there's a lot of blue ocean here so it might not be the place for you
