This must be the best two spanish teachers in the world. I like how they casually speak and not try to force things. I also like that they slur a lot (which is common in this world too!) but most spanish teaching channels always try to be serious and formal while these two goofs just trynna teach you everyday spanish! Big up! keep up the good work fellas :)
Mande is a way to say what but we don’t say que, we use mande when we are trying to be very respectful with our mom 😂 because if you answer que probably she’s gonna hit you really bad 😂🇲🇽
yeah when i was younger i would say que and she would go “no se dice que, se dice mande” and i would say que then quickly say mande so i wouldn’t get hit
I live in San Diego, California, where we have a heavy Mexican influence here, since we're right next to the border to Tijuana. Spanish is very common here, along with my Mexican family knowing the language too. Even all of my coworkers know Spanish, yet I don't know much. I'll be using these phrases with friends though, because I really to learn and embrace my heritage, and also understand what my family and friends are saying lol
I live and was born here too! I listen to so much Colombian/PR/DR music, that slang doesn't get used here! I'm only NOW stupidly learning this whole new vocabulary that's been here all along. Disclaimer: I'm not unaware of any of these. Just never quite used them in convo. It's crazy but "slang" (aka jerga) makes a difference, between sounding "textbook" Spanish & just friendly, chill Spanish. Of course, good accent and rhythmic speech doesn't hurt either lol. When I went to NYC for a year, everybody from PR/DR (or Cuba, South America, etc.) immediately knew I was from SoCal/Baja... I guess I developed a "Mexican accent" from having grown up here and been around it my whole life basically. Every day. I said one word and immediately my friend's mom asked me, "De dónde eres, Baja California? Tijuana, México?!" I had just met my friend's family, & was trying to be respectful. I didn't hear what she said. So I said, "Mande?" Dead giveaway apparently lol
i work with two Mexican dudes that are fluent Spanish but not as fluent in English. they can understand me, but i cant understand them sometimes so videos like this really inspire me to remember these easy to pick-up phrases. kinda excited to see their face as i say it in my broken Spanish lmaooo anyways, good work guys! two thumbs up :)
You guys make learning so fun! My parents are from Mexico but I was born in the US- I'm glad I finally can get in with the slang when my cousins invite me to their parties :)
You 2 are AWESOME! I have been learning spanish for a,while, but really gotten into it a few years ago. My hispanic friends at work have also been a tremedous help. I live to learn all the slamg, which mist books wont teach you. I do have 1 book that does, though, but listening to them on youtube is a lot better.
I thought you guys were pranking us with some of these lol i did. I almost turned the channel but then realized you guys are really not only authentic but down to earth and funny. Id enjoy videos like this in the future so Im subscribing. Thanks guys ✋ its like having fun class in the middle of learning spanish
Yo soy japonesa y ya estoy mayor de edad. Sus videos me hacen recordar mi juventud cuando estudiaba español en la UNAM y trabajaba en el Liceo japonés como maestra de la cultura japonesa. Gracias chicos. Saludos desde Tokio, japón.
I can already speak it but it's broken because i grew up in America with a father who spoke Spanish and english but a mother who only spoke spanish. This vids are really helpful
Gracias mi amigos im a half Black half white guy married to a beautiful Mexican girl from Mazatlán Sinaloa (we got married at 16 years old and have been married for 13 years now. Sad part is I never learned Spanish but I’ve been working every day to speak it more and more. And people like yaw make it fun so 🙏
Mande is a way of saying "I beg your pardon" when someone says something that you need them to repeat because you did not understand. We use "mande" when we are being respectful to others, especially older people.
@@efrainpina5680 I want to speak Mexican Spanish, clearly. I’m trying to watch the videos and they’re amazing! And I can read decently, but what I end up running into is trouble with actual conversation. What’s the best way to practice that when you live in a minimally cultural diverse place like I do?? Please let me know! :)

@@samhinesjr.3992 Hello, I'd really like to improve my English listening haha. If you are still interested, we could talk or something! You can practice your Spanish with me :)
Eso que ni qué cuánto útil este vídeo es y disfruto los dos presentadores. Son graciosos y bastantes chidos. ¡A huevos! 😁 Sigan con su trabajo excelente. 👍
The context seems to be everything in Spanish. Im noticing the same words used in totally different context, also THANK YOU as this helps a gringo to sound more normal. Great video, you should make more like this. When I am learning "proper" espanol I just get confused.

So I’m genuinely curious, I’m from Kentucky (so we have a country accent) and most people who learn Spanish here say it with a horribly Appalachian accent😂 if someone really tries to speak with a decent accent, so true Spanish speaking people find it annoying or stupid? I want to practice saying words correctly, but I think sometimes I’m embarrassed! Haha please let me know someone!
