I just read Belladonna by Adalyn Grace and the second book Foxglove just came out at the end of Aug. It’s very easy to read but not too slow paced. It’s got all the gothic fantasy, mystery, romance to it. I’m about to start Foxglove and I think I’ll easily finish it in a couple days!

The beginning with you mom was so sweet to watch. My Nana (mom's mom) recently passed away and my mom has talked a lot about wishing she had asked her mom lots of questions and about her life much sooner, when my Nana still remembered. Listening to you be curious about your mom's life before you were born was such a great reminder that I need to do the same. Love you and your videos Rachel!

Would absolutely recommend Nightbirds by Kate Armstrong! I might have a slightly biased opinion because I knew Kate growing up, but I do think you would enjoy the book. Roaring 20's prohibition inspired setting, three main characters that have nothing in common but have to rely on one another, magic, high stakes! And the sequel is supposed to come out next year
none shall sleep!! literally a more adult version of the naturals (haven't read that series, but based on what I keep hearing people say, literally that). basically early stages of the BAU (criminal minds vibes) with teens
highly HIGHLY recommend!!

Rachel I have to thank you for getting me back into books. I have an English Literature and Creative Writing degree and I loved to read before my degree but honestly it KILLED it for a long time. It's been a long time since reading has been fun and seeing your excitement for books has really rubbed off on me and at the start of this year I set myself a goal to read 12 books in 2023 which at the time seemed so unattainable but I've found it so easy as |'ve got back into it and I've read a few different genres to see what my favourites are at this point in my life and I'm having so much fun with it. Your mum is lovely and the headband look really suits you x

Did you know there’s a little novella as a 5th book in the series? It’s called twelve, with Cassie now at the age of 23 I’m about to start it & I’m not much of a novella girly but this series did something to me🤯👏🏼
